Shari's

It took an unusually long time to receive our food and the order was not accurate. Also, the portion size of the half grilled cheese sandwich was very small and of average quality.

There is not really a good veggie option for the dinners. I wanted a steak dinner but all it comes with is greasy potatoes, onion rings and toast. Where are the healthier options. The veggies were subpar and the portion of them were to small.

I ordered coffee, but did not receive any coffee, and now that I am looking on my receipt I was charged for it! She advised us she was making a fresh pot when we first ordered, but then forgot it until I was through eating. She had not checked back with us for me to remind her. When she brought us the check, she apologized and started to go get it, but I told her I didn't need it any longer since I was done with my food.

this is the second time we had this server and thou he seems friendly enough he doesn't go the extra step to make us satisfied. After ordering he tells us our prices will be $2 more because it's 10 mins after 9 instead of at the time we ordered. My food was barely warm and when asked for a different tea then Lipton, instead of offering us a variety in a container he asked what kind we wanted. How would we know what kind if we don't know what they have? When I said black tea he gave me one bag of Earl Grey. I have decided Shari's is no longer on the top of my list for dinning.

Shari's has always been a favorite place. I ordered the Senior Omelette with French Toast. Both were extremely dry and tasteless. I asked for some salsa to try and wet the eggs some, but even that was dry with no sauce at all. I hate to complain, but Shari's can be such a great place to eat. We drove from north Cottonwood to eat there and buy pies for Christmas.

Ordered coffee... so bitter couldn't even drink it. Ordered eggs over EASY...over cooked. Had a biscuit and grave as my side, gravy cold.

Was unable to order pie when ordering the "Trio". Tried to order soup, salad, and pie. Was told I could only get quiche or a half sandwich with the soup and salad. When we questioned the waitress, she had to ask the manager, we were told "no pie". Settled for a bowl of soup instead. Not how we interpreted the menu.

Arrived at lunch hour and soda repair man was there to service machine, so after first soda, could not get a refill. He should not be there at lunch hour and restaurant should have back-up cans of soda. Portions were very small for price. Burger was not cooked as ordered. Fries were not hot. Waitress was not friendly and had a "hurry up and order" attitude. Nasty salad with "weed" type lettuces', not a green salad. Bathroom was not clean. Ordered a pie to go and could not get the special price as my Shari's card had expired and she gave me a new card which needed to be activated once I got home. I would think with my old card, she would have a "register" card to run my pie purchase on, then ask me to validate my new card once I got home. How was I to know that you had gone to a new card????? Not my fault, so I told her to keep the pie. Overall, not a pleasant experience and now know why local people do not recommend the place.

I ordered the Northwest Salad (one of my favorites). The blue cheese was missing. The grilled onions were missing. The little round tomatoes were missing. The meat was not cooked as I requested (I requested medium, it was rare.) All that I really received was a pile of greens with raw meat on top. It was terrible, especially since I had to PAY $12 for a pile of greens. I eventually got everything that the salad should have had on it. I had to ask three times for things to be fixed.
