There were lots of empty booths around me, but the server decided to place a family of five directly across from my booth, making it difficult to have a pleasant conversation. (The family was loud.) I wish they had been placed further away, allowing both parties to talk comfortably.

The entree portions appear larger in the menu and seem to have been larger in the past. It seems that portion size is shrinking.

We had to ask for a glass of water, it wasn't automatically served. In my breakfast plate there was egg shells within my egg. It looked like there were not enough waitresses to serve the customers. Our waitress was practically running to get us waited upon; seated & trying to get us served. Saw the manager (I presume he was the manager) just talking with a waitress then a cook rather than helping seat customers or check them out at the cash register. Why wasn't he helping in some way??

The coffee is outstanding! Our waitress was super. She is friendly, knowledgeable, has a knack for showing up just when you need something, but does not hover. We enjoy coming to Sharis and always hope that Joann will be our waitress - she is super.

The pancakes were a little dark. But I did not mind so much. They were still good. They still tasted good. Give my daughter had eaten here she probably would've sent them back .
