When the waitress finally came to check in with us after we got our food and I told her about my steak she let me know that there was no more steak. She offered me pie to make up for the fact that my food was inedible. That was ridiculous. Then she told me I could order something else so I ordered a country fried steak. When I got it, the bottom of the steak had been cut open allowing grease to saturate the 'meat.' When I told the manager about it, he didn't care. Didn't offer anything except a weak smile. That was ridiculous.

They sat us down quickly, so no problem there plus they gave us water and menus right away but then it took quite a while for someone to take our order. One person I was with finally whistled and waved his menu to get attention. The order came in a timely manner but I was not pleased with the taste of my lunch. I had ordered a patty melt (which the waitress said they still made them even though it wasn't on the menu). They had put some sort of dressing on the hamburger (perhaps thousand island dressing) and that's all I could taste. Never had one made like that including at Shari's. This is the second time I wasn't pleased with the food. I had the strawberry cannoli once and it didn't have the cream cheese in the center, so I had to get some on the side. I complained to the manger but he didn't do anything. I only give a restaurant a couple of chances and I'm afraid Shari's has been bad for me too many times so that's it for me. Your site says that al the time I have.

When we arrived we were not treated, also took over 5 minutes to get seated. The The manager seated us and did not even offer us or ask what we wanted to drink. After waiting for over 29 minutes I went to the manager and assked him for 2 cups of coffee and a glass of ice. When he brought the coffee to us it was cold.

We visited on a very busy night and I was shocked that there were only two servers for the entire restaurant. This led to service being very slow. Both servers were extremely frazzled. Our food took forever to come. And after all that my BACON Ranch Cheeseburger came with NO bacon and was burned. It also came with onion rings and herb fries, which I had not ordered. I normally would have asked the server to remedy the problem, but felt that they were so busy and frazzled it would just take even longer to get a new order out. Our drinks were not refilled. We asked for a take out box and were never brought one. At that point we had been there two hours and just wanted to leave, so we left ASAP. I was also shocked that we paid $5.29 for a mediocre small shake. Having been to Shari's previously and loved their huge shakes I was excited to order one and willing to pay the money, but when it came out the whip cream was flat and it was super runny/melted like it had sat for a long time before it was brought out to us. It also only came in one cup, we were expecting it to come in two cups and to share it among our table. I was highly disappointed and will not be returning.

My kid want macaroni and cheese. She didn't like it They took it back she got pancakes I pay for both of them If someone don't like your food why do we have to pay for it

it was my daughter's birthday, and she wanted a French silk pie instead of a cake for her celebration. So, at Shari's I bought a (not sure of the exact name) white chocolate silk pie, which visually except for the dented pie pan and broken crust edge looked ok. That night, after blowing out the candle on the cake and cutting and serving it, we found that the whipping cream was as hard as wood, and even though that was easy enough to scrape off, the half that was left, when I bit into mine about the second bite, a chunk of minced hard plastic (like a clear lid of a go box) about a half inch square and sharp and broken was in my bite. We ate around the problems as best we could but needless to say, a lot of the pie went out the door to feed the wild birds. I cannot believe Shari's doesn't have better quality control and decommissioning of stale products...

Food took forever to get, then everything was over cooked or burnt. Sen5 back burnt pancakes, came back almost as burnt.When told manager Alyssa, she took the food off of the ticket, but then took our food without offering to get us anything else, saying since you don't like anything I will take your plates now. I said well we are still hungry, so she said well you can have some pie. Then as we were paying for our beverages and getting our pie pieces to go, the cook came out of kitchen, and the manager and the cook were talking about us right in front of us. Husband and daughter did try to eat some of their pancakes, that were sent back, that was, before they were rudely taken away, however, ever since we've been home though, they have both been sick, and on the toilet. I think cook probably put eye drops or something in their pancakes. Terrible food and service!!!!

I have no complaints about my visit(s) at Shari's. My husband and I eat there often enough that we are acquainted with many of the staff.

We had to wait 5 minutes before being seated and there were no staff visible. Then after we were seated the waitress, Linda, seated people who came in several minutes after us. After seating us first she then proceeded to wait on the other table first. She seated them and took their drink orders and orders. Ten minutes later she came to us and took our order, I timed it. Then when our food finally came over 20 minutes later, she served our daughter approximately 5 minutes before us because our nachos were being microwaved. The nachos were warm at best and the chips and cheese not great since they had been in the microwave. My daughter has to ask for water and go get it herself as Linda didn't come back to our table. Then we had to go back for a straw. I have never been treated so poorly in a Shari's before and I am not sure I will be back after such a horrid experience.

We have been to Shari's many times and this is the first time we have been totally unsatisfied with the food we received. We both ordered the Quiche Lorriane. The portion size was small. It was cold. The toast with it was cold and old and the grapes were small, old and unappealing. The honey dew still had the rind on and was not ripe. I'm usually not one to complain but this time I mentioned it to the girl at the check out after she asked me how everything was. I answered her courtiesouly and honestly and explained why I was unsatisfied. All she said was that they had heard that about the melon before. That was it. I expected she might compensate us in some way but did not. It wasn't her fault and I didn't get nasty with her. But honestly I was very disappointed that no compensation was offered. So much so that I doubt we will be back. It wasn't the server or girl that checked us out. They were both just fine. You might ask why I didn't ask to have it heated....it would have come back dry and hard. Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to give you constructive criticism.
