Shari's

The restaurant is just above normal restaurant. For the price I paid and the food and services I received, I would say satisfactory.

The bacon was very dry seemed it was deep fried . Bacon should be grill cooked.

I come in to buy a couple of pies on a Sunday afternoon Approx3pm it took a bit to even be acknowledge.

ordered blt on first bite thought someone had put a tongue depressor in the sandwich, it was the bacon; hard as a rock

Needed more attention from waiter

Server's not attentive. Would think manager would have servers keep tables cleaner. Especially tables with dropdown leafs where food accumulates and is very unhealthy as well as the disgusting appearearance. Hope this is brought to the attention of all the Sharis managers.

The pancakes were heavy and gooy

Our server, Natalie wasn't very nice. She was rude when I first walked through the door and didnt bother to make any sort of conversation with us throughout our meal. Surved us very quickly and seemed like she was trying to rush us out of the door.

We visited this location 2 times this past week. The second time on May 23rd the server was not as helpful as the first visit two days prior. The food was definitely not as good either. The first time, was a good experience, but the second was not. BUT, on both times, both servers came by and grabbed our VISA check before we were done or ready to leave. We think that this was rude and they obviously want to see their tip. Rarely, have we ever had this happen. Perhaps the management of this location has made this a policy in order to make sure that the deadbeat customers don't leave without paying. On the second visit, when the Server reached for the ticket, I told her that wasn't done yet. She said. "you signed it". So, she was watching obviously. Well, I hadn't filled in the tip yet and I told her that I was not done. Frankly, I should not have tipped her, but I did. The second meal on the 23rd was really disappointing. It was cold, not as well prepared as the first day. I wanted my guest to send it back, but she did not want the bother. Oh well, won't be back.

The Clam Chowder was possibly the worst I have ever had. Worse than Campbells. The flavor of the country fried steak was just ok. It appeared to be a packaged product. I had one at another Shari's that was terrific.The salad was all greens with 2 small grape tomatoes and some croutons - no cheese or other veggies. In the past, it seems the salad was better. All in all, I felt the quality of the food was less than usual.
