The issues were with one server Jennifer. The first time she served us almost the entire order was wrong, it took forever for her to check beck with us even though there were only 4 other people in the restaurant. She kept making excuses about being new and that being the first time on her own and why everything was delayed. Because she was new we did not complain and left it alone. The most recent occurrence we went in to order dessert. This is about 1-2 weeks later. The I ordered a banana split and my friend ordered warmed up pie with ice cream. For both the ice cream was melted and dripping off the plate, the pie was stone cold. It took several attempts to get her attention. One we had she laughed it of and made excuses for why it was wrong. She redid the pie and came back laughing saying she forgot to start the microwave to heat the pie. She did not come back again except to bring us the check. We come in often and have never had issues with any other server. It has gotten to the point were we either going to stop going to this location or will, upon seeing Jennifer working, request to be seated in a different section.

I order a Sharis Sampler and had a great experience. As a teen making minimum wage, I was under the impression I was eating an affordable breakfast for $12. However, I asked the woman for two extra pancakes. I was shocked when I got my check and saw I had a almost a twenty dollar bill (over 20 with tip). I got up to pay and admitted to my server I wished I was told the extra pancakes would cost almost as much as my meal. I felt like she was being rude and abrupt. I didn’t appreciate her attitude and her service in general could have been better. It took a long time to refill drinks and her attentiveness was minimal at times. I’m a regular at Sharis. I miss my usual server.

We were promptly greeted and taken to our table. After that, the speed of service was awful. The server maybe had 2 or 3 other tables and the place was pretty quiet. She took a very long time to come take our order, never asked how our food was, we received our drink halfway through our meals, and dessert took about 15 minutes from the time we ordered until we received it. The entrees were fast and exceeded expectations. She was friendly enough, But she seemed to move like she was riding a turtle. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but I feel like the speed of this server is waaaay below company expectations. We still tipped 20% because that's her income and I won't mess with that, but we were dissatisfied and annoyed. I don't think she should be reprimanded, but maybe just coached on how to move with a sense of urgency while providing excellent service and hospitality. Thank you.

We have been to this sharis many many time we go at least once a week and usually have great service, however tonight or food was brought to us and it was cold, people that ordered after us got their food first, some of the things we ordered were forgotten and we had to ask a couple times for condiments. Normally at this location we are very pleased with the staff and service but that was not the case tonight.

My husband had ordered Sierra Mist to drink which the server brought to us, but when she came back to fill his glass she didn't ask what was in it she just automatically put water in his glass. She did this two more times while we were there she didn't even enter it into the machine when she put the order in so we didn't pay for it. As a former server you never assume when you see a clear liquid in a glass that it is water always ask if you're not sure what it is the customer is drinking.

Food was cold, had to wait for server to come back, couldn't get his attention. After food was heated up, was still cold and he never brought back my jam for toast. I had to get up and grab Tabasco sauce myself after I asked for it. Waitress then just threw pie on the table, not impressed at all with staff

I ordered the Turkey Sandwich w/mashed potatoes. The gravy was clumpy greasy like. The turkey in the sandwich was grilled and VERY dry. The turkey tasted like it had been grilled upon a grill after salmon. I told my waitress, and she argued with me that the turkey was NOT grilled, and when I showed her she simply said "oh well, I work at the Shari's in Nampa, and we do not cook our turkey like that. She did not offer a discount, she did not offer a manger to come speak with me. She mentioned several times throughout the course of our meal that she was not a regular employee of the Meridian location. Horrible experience and I will NOT return. The waiter who checked me out asked how my experience was, and when I told him, he simply responded that it was too bad I did not get him, because he would have discounted my meal. He did not even offer to get a manager either. I paid $10.89 for my worthless meal. I will NOT be back, I will not recommend this location either.
