Shari's

Hurried to order. Then it took a long time with the excuse of a new cook. My wife had the trio and the second part was forgotten and we had to ask again. Then we waited forever to get our bill. And then was pressured to do this survey.

I sat across from the waitress station. The waitress bussed her tables, used the silverware from the used plates to scrape leftovers into a container, then placed all in tubs. THEN she turned to the clean silverware and proceeded to set the table for the next customers. NEVER did she wash her hands. This is a serious health hazard. She did this repeatedly during our meal. If Shari's can't hire busboys, they should provide sinks to wash. Sorry, but you just lost us as customers.

We came in for a piece of pie. My husband ordered chocolate cream supreme; I ordered chocolate silk. My piece was smaller, and there was so much of whatever passed as whipped cream on it, way more than the filling itself. I really couldn't taste the chocolate at all, way too sweet. Whatever was in the whipped cream solidified into a film in my mouth when I took a drink of ice water. While my husband enjoyed his pie, it was another case of way too much topping. In fact, after looking at your pies in the display case, all of them are decorative topping over not very much filling. I had a better piece of pie from the frozen dessert case at my local grocer's a week earlier: Marie Calendars. However, the wait staff was very good....no problems there at all.

We were sat and then forgotten about. There was no sign of a manager on the floor. Had several waitresses walk pass our table and just ignore that nobody had helped us yet. Had to ask for a manager before we could place our order.

the time was the changing of the shift and it did not go too smooth in my mind .

we go to sharis at least once a week and figured we would go there for Cheistmas

I had the filet mignon dinner and I asked it to be cooked medium rare. It was well done. I had a coupon that said one coupon per party. My wife and I are a party. I had to use two coupons to get two filet mignon dinners. The coupon should have read one coupon per person, not per party. Get it right the next time.

I am a regular customer; I enjoy this Shari's. There were about 5 tables being covered by one wait person; two other employees stood talking about personal topics that could be heard by customers for over 45 minutes (from the time I started timing them because they weren't doing anything to help customers). They were standing where the wait person had to pass between them as she (alone) was trying to get orders together. Their conversation actually continued as the two of them were checking me out at the register--they continued to talk about personal issues. Please note that my "Server" (#237092) did a wonderful job under the circumstances.

The waitress who took my order was quick and friendly, however she was off right after she served me. The new waitress didn’t come to my table one time and was rude and loud.
