It was very early in the morning and the restaurant only had a couple tables to serve and the service was extremely slow. The first waitress was very short and rude when take our orders and the food took over an hour to come to our table. When it did arrive, we were missing items that we ultimately told them just to not even bring because we had already waited so long anyway. The second waitress didn't seem to care that we had complaints just said sorry and walked away. Our food was cold when we got it, and it wouldn't have been worth it to ask for a got order. Never had a bad experience at Shari's like this one, especially when they weren't busy.

First off I'd like to say that I'm Hispanic and your waitress Angie was discriminating us. This morning my husband and I went to the restaurant in Springfield for lunch. Angie took us to our table; the first impression that I had was that she was having a bad day. As soon as I sat down, my husband hasn't she dropped off the menus on the table, and she ask, "what do you want to drink"!? I said: I want coffee, please. She repeated the question looking at my husband and I responded "He's in the phone" and she responded in a very bad manner and attitude "I can see that", rolling her eyes. I said, just water, while she was turning around, my husband said: "ice tea please" she didn't listen (I guess) because she returned with water. I said "he wants ice tea please" she rolled her eyes again, didn't answer and in a really bad manner came back with the ice tea. SHE NEVER CAME BACK TO OUR TABLE TO TAKE THE ORDER.. (Mandy, a really nice lady did it) Angie (the racist person)was serving the tables around us who arrived later than us smiling and chatting with them. I am assuming that she didn't want to serve us.

It took forever to be seated despite relatively low volume of customers. Upon being seated, it took some time to get drinks ordered. When drinks arrived, one of the glasses was actually empty except for ice and the waiter had to go get it filled. Then it took approximately a half hour before a waitress arrived to take our order. Our simple order of a burger and some kids corn dogs took forever to arrive. We were short a place setting and couldn't get the waitstaff's attention. We never got a single refill due to the lack of attention. When my burger arrived it was burnt black. Frustrated with waiting for service, we decided to get pie and dessert to go, rather than wait to eat it in. The check took another fifteen minutes or so to arrive with the desserts. In all we were there for an hour and a half for an order of one burnt burger, two kids orn dog meals and three drinks.

I ordered French toast and when it was served to me there was a little plastic cap in it. The manager happened to be right by our table so I called him over. I asked him if that was a cap in my food and he said "yes, that's the cap to the Carmel bottle". I said "I don't have Carmel on my French toast" and he said "its kept where the butter is." He then grabbed a napkin and asked me to put the cap on there. So I used my fork and did. He then took the cap and walked away..leaving that plate of French toast. I proceeded to push the plate to the side and after a few minutes he walked by and asked me if I wanted new French toast??? I said yes. Not sure still why he even asked or thought I would want those ones. No apology and never saw the manager again. Then as I waited for new ones I watched my waitress walk past the new ones sitting up there twice before grabbing them FINALLY the third time she walked by them. So no apologies and still charged for my meal in the end. What the heck? I will not go back. Not my first negative Sharis experience.

The food was very cold. The steak was raw and very small. I ended up going to burger king after our 31 dollar dinner because we were still hungry. We didn't even get our drinks that we ordered. Seriously not worth the money. Worst food I have ever had.

The waitress offered my husband coffee to drink and din not acknowledge me. The manager came over and asked me if I would like a glass of water, I said yes please. The waitress named Angie only came over and asked us one time how our breakfast was. I gave her the thumbs up since my mouth was full. The manager brought us our receipt and offered a to go box. There was maybe 20 people in the whole restraunt, not busy at all. My husband asked if I could pay using his card while he went to the bathroom. He came out and I said I couldn't sign his name and the waitress rudely said, Its the law! I couldn't believe how rude she was to me I have never been treated that way. My mother passed away 3 days ago and have been so stressed out! I did not need to be treated this way! I will never come back to this Sharis again and I will be sure to share this with all my family members and friends!!
