I had eggs with hash browns. They were saturated with oil/butter. The flavors were overwhelmed by the buttery, oily taste.

Shauna was very polite and even when she needed to take a break came to check in on us and asked another server to check in on us while she would step away for a few minutes. She was great about offering pies and what was available as well as let the server who would be checking on is know we may be interested in getting pies before leaving, very thorough.

I had a coupon for free item (from completing a survey). Ultimately it was my fault for not checking the ticket to see it wasn't deducted from the bill. It wasn't deducted and was told the transaction for payment could not be voided and re-entered (which I don't believe). Also, I think staff should ask if we are Shari's members so the ticket could be added to our account (it wasn't). Like I said, it was ultimately my fault for not being on the ball and talking too much, but I fault the crew there for not prompting me as well as not explaining that I needed to give the survey code to the cashier.

I saw a picture on the menu of a cream pie. It read: free with a dinner order on Wednesday after 4 pm. So I ordered my meal. Looking forward of course to the cream pie. But when it came time to get my pie...my pie cost $1.00. I asked the waitress about why I had to pay for my pie. A manager came over and commented to me. I only receive a free pie for a classic pie, not a cream pie. I said: who reads the fine print anyway? He told me I was right, and the picture was deceiving. He said: he would talk to corporate, and try to get the picture changed. I thanked him! And since he wasn't going to give me a dollar off my pie. I settled for a handful of "mints"...lol

The service at the Redmond, Oregon Shari's is very inconsistent. Today, we arrived around 4 :00 p pm. There were just a handful of customers in the store. We had to wait several minutes to be seated. The server was pleasant, but it took several minutes for her to take our order. It took at least fifteen minutes to receive our food. We enjoy the value and food at Shari's, but the Redmond store suffers from chronic inconsistent service.

Our favorite server---Sarah---NO longer works for you! Our server tried too hard to make us welcome. Older people should not be called sweetie or honey.
