Difficulty getting our utensils, steaks way undercooked, potatoes 'cool' not warm.

Waffle was gummy as it was the last 2 times. Steak, ordered medium rare was well done on one end, medium on the other.

We stopped going to Sharis's because: 1) Our favorite server went yo a competitor. 2) The food is often cold and the server would help. 3) It takes too long tome seated and the hostess does NOT know what she is doing. 4) The person with a tie does not help, does not ask how we are doing. THUS for the dollars we spend to eat out, there are better places.

I ate at the South Sharis in Bend OR and we had a party of 6. We all ordered prime rib breakfasts and we were so impressed with the size of the cut, the flavor and that my medium rare was perfect. The stuffed hash browns were delicious. We all could not believe how good the meat was prepared and the flavor was excellent. When I went to Shari's in Redmond I told my husband all about the terrific Prime Rib about the portion size and the flavor. When I ordered the prime rib breakfast requested medium rare was told you could not do that. I don't know any restaurant that does not prepare your steak as you prefer. I was not asked how I wanted my meat cooked? Something is really different between the restaurants. Carry On

I bring my mom here often as she really likes the girls that work there and for the most part, the food that she orders. She's diabetic and can't have any extra salt so it's hard to pick things that she can eat. This visit, she ordered the split pea and ham soup with half a turkey sandwich. Her soup was really salty. When she commented on her turkey sandwich, I thought, geez, mom, what's up with you today. HOWEVER, I said, "let me taste it..." I did and the meat was bad! We called the waitress over again and apologized to her that we seemed like we were complaining, but that we felt the meat was sour/bad. She promptly put in an order for a grilled cheese and it took a little bit to get, but it did come out and it was okay. I also had the turkey sandwich. My meat tasted funny too, but my mom's tasted and smelled worse. I sincerely hope the chef checked it out and pulled it so no one else got it. I ended up with cramping/and diarrhea later into the night, but my mom was okay. As I said, my mom loves the girls there and usually the food, so we will come back at some point, but we are very leary at the moment. Thanks for listening.

We where satisfied but your website was not easy to navigate and impossible to place an order for basic items such as fish&shrimp and a philly stake. 1 piece of fish and four shrimp was provided in the meal.

When we were finally seated it was a long wait for Kris to come to our table. It was not her fault, it was because she was the only one taking care of the customers on her side of the restrurant. I believe they were understaffed. Kris did the best with what was require. I felt she was being put to the test.

The manager who seated us, was very unfriendly. He never spoke or made eye contact. We just had coffee & it was terrible! It had been in a hot pot much too long. It was strong & bitter. Not close to worth $4.78 for two. We frequently have dinner here. Usually the food is good but if every experience was like this one, we would never return. The manager has been there a long time & never has been friendly. He is a tall Hawaiian with a huge chip on his shoulder. He should be in another line of work.
