The food was served promptly. However, we were never asked if we would like more water or if we needed anything else. I had a hard time eating my meal with 1 small cup of water. I couldn't get her attention because she was to busy talking with other team members. My sons biscuits and gravy was very dry. Would have been nice if they would of put enough gravy so that it wasn't mostly dry biscuits. By this time I was ready to leave and very disappointed in the lack of service. I thought I would ask for the free pie and she said "Sorry, that's not good until 4pm, I looked at my watch and it was 3:56pm" it's really hard to enjoy a meal when you don't have anything to drink, then to not honor the free pie because it's 4 minutes early is ridiculous. I really don't like complaining, but this was terrible service and ruined our afternoon. When I spend $35.00 I want to feel good about my purchase. Instead we left very disappointed. We shouldn't feel like we are a burden in a restaurant establishment. Thank you for listening.

When we entered the restaurant, there were there were people waiting to be seated and being ignored. When we ordered our food, it took 25 minutes to have it delivered. Admittedly, it was crowed. The food was very good. When we left there were people waiting to pay their bill and again they were being ignored. It took me 10 minutes standing at the register to finally pay.

It is always super cold in the restaurant and takes forever to get your food. Also once you get your order you never see the waiter again until they bring the check. P

It took way too long to place my order. Then too long for it to be delivered - our waitress went on break and the backup was too slow. The food was no longer as warm as it should have been and the advertised side order of toast was never delivered and no waitress ever came by to see if anything was needed. The sad part is that the restaurant was not even that busy!

The food was very bland, I think it was the last piece of quiche in the pan. Soggy, undercooked. Just tasteless.

As always, the staff is very friendly. The meal I ordered, though, was sub-par. I ordered the chicken fried steak dinner. The piece that arrived was barely larger than my palm and quite tough. I'm the kind of person who doesn't mind paying for quality; if the price needs to go up a dollar or two to ensure a satisfying size and tender texture, I am happy to do it. My friend with me order a panini sandwich and thought the taste was great, but the amount of filling was slight, to say the least.

The Host sat us and asked what beverage we wanted. I said I was thinking maybe hot green tea. His reply (very smarty) was if I was thinking or did I want it. When delivered it was lukewarm. I sent it back for hot tea. It took forever to get waited on and another forever to get our order. The server was harried and it seemed it was understaffed. Such a disappointment! Tomorrow is my birthday and the experience put a real damper on the celebration! Probably won't be back soon.

Another lousy Shari's experience. It took a while for our order to be taken though there were employees all over and the place was not very busy. I got "the breakfast standard": 2 eggs and choice of: Applewood-Smoked Bacon or Grilled Sausage with pancakes or French Toast or hashbrowns and toast or biscuits & gravy. My command of the English language is pretty good, so I ordered it with bacon, scrambled eggs, pancakes and biscuits and gravy. I was served COLD eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy. Missing an item. No comment was made upon ordering that it wouldn't all come with the that meal or I would have ordered a larger meal to share with my 18 month old bottom-less pit of a son. When I asked about the missing pancake(s) I was told the meal didn't come with any, I said my understanding was it did, but instead of real CUSTOMER SERVICE where you either get me a pancake to make me happy or check a menu with me to confirm so I feel like you at least care, I was simply told no, AND IT WAS ALREADY COLD

I ordered the traditional breakfast with coffee, when the order came a piece of my toast had green stuff on it. I called it to the attention of the waitress, she took it back and brought me another order of toast. Then I started to drink my coffee and found something floating in the coffee, ended up being a piece of something like spinach. At that point I was getting sick to my stomach. When I went to the cashier (who I believe is the asst. manager) I told him to take the coffee off my order because I didn't drink it, that there was something floating in the cup of coffee. He did take it off but no apology, just removed the coffee charge. This is disgusting to find these things in my food and could be a health issue

ordered beer battered fish and chips as they looked good on the menu and were on a special menu that made them look like a special order. the picture on the menu showed three good size pieces of cod fish,but when the order was served the portions of fish were of very small size. The price for the fish and chips was $11.95 as I remember and for a serving of the size I received I consider the price excessive.In addition the fish had been deep fried for too long a period and were overdone. we have been shari's customers for a long time and have always been satisfied with the food, service and prices , especially at this particular shari's so this was a disappointing visit.
