Shari's

Stopped in for a quick lunch and we were greeted within minutes. Our order was taken right after we sat down and delivered fast. Our server wast fast friendly and very acknowledging of the items on the menu

We're from Seattle, and it will probably be a log time before we return to Eugene. But our experience with Shari's was superb and much better than we expected. We met there with an 82 year old friend from Eugene whom we hadn't seen in about 25 years. The food was VERY reasonably priced and very good. Our waiter, Phillip, was outstanding. He was very friendly, very professional, and very knowledgable. When two of us each ordered a glass of wine, he told us that there was a Friday special and we could get a whole bottle for about the price of the two glasses. I was driving and didn't want to drink more than a glass, so he put the rest of the bottle in a paper bag; we took it and had it later that evening when we stopped for the night. We had some nice conversations with Phillip. He couldn't have been nicer. I knew that Shari's was a chain, and I'd been at a Shari's once or twice before in my life. We were surprised that our Eugene friend suggested that we meet there. But it was really good. Thank you so much!

Our server was fantastic. We hadn't eat there for a while and found they had a new menu and my favorite meal was gone. She recommended another dish that was somewhat similar and I was pleased with the result.

We are always pleased with the food, the service and the atmosphere at this Shari's. We enjoy the cooks, the manager and all the servers as they are all friendly and professional. The pies are exceptional as is the food.

Shari's is always clean, the food is good and the staff is friendly.

My mission was to pick up a pie during a busy time at the restaurant. There appeared to be a surge in customers at the time, but I was warmly greeted and had to wait a few minutes. Not a staff problem. All went well.

They were very busy, but service and food quality was still good.

With the new menu, I could not find the chef's salad listed. I mentioned this to our server (273856 James) and he said it was still available, just didn't know where it was on the menu. I re-read that menu 6 or 7 times, and could not find it. So I was highly satisfied that James could erase my unhappiness at one of my favorite menu items was still available, though not listed in the menu. I'd suggest you re-insert it, as it is as favorite of others, I'm sure.

Cuban sandwich was not made correct by the recipe. Check what a REAL cuban sandwich has for meat? If you can't provide the correct ingredients you should take the offering off the menu. It is all about being authentic and real.
