Shari's

We love going to this Shari's. It just seems like the taste of the omelets has changed. Seems like they have been watered down. If that is what you have to do, or whatever you did to change the taste of omelets, I will just order fried eggs. I always get the two egg ham and cheese omelet and have noticed the change a while ago. I haven't answered a survey in a while though so I'm mentioning it now. I didn't say anything to the staff as I think it would be a corporate decision on how food is prepared. We love the whole staff at the Gateway Springfield Shari's.

We came in late and I wanted the loaded bake potato soup. It was cold out. I was told their is no soup after about 10pm

My omelet was overcooked and browned on the bottom. This is the second time this has happened at this Shari"s. The other one was the Spring Spinach Omelet.

The steak sandwich didn't have enough meat to cover the bun. I would estimate less than 2 oz of meat. Bun was toasted and smashed.. Not a good presentation and certainly not a good value for the price. My dinner mate had a burger with 4 times the meat for the same price!

Home of free pie wednesday, with purchase of entrée. We purchased 2 entrées, on Wednesday, asked about the free slice pie, was told only after 4pm. You have printed on the napkins free pie Wednesday, nothing about having to wait until 4pm.

The item I selected was not tasty. It was bland. Other then that every other aspect of my visit was satisfactory. I will go back again.

Restaurant wasn't very busy, staff was slow to acknowledge our arrival and remember dessert was ordered

Half a sandwich and a cup of soup should come out at the same time. My soup came out 20 minutes before my grilled cheese sandwich. My soup was cold by the time my sandwich arrived. I was informed this is due to corporate mandate. Why are you micromanaging customer service? Thank goodness Erin is such an outstanding waitress or I would never return to a restaurant where the wait staff are so poorly micromanage by suits who have never waited a table in their lives.
