Salad was sparse but good. The turkey meat was under cooked, cold and tasted of old aluminum foil. Thank goodness for cranberry sauce. Left the stuffing and mashed potatoes. Yams ok, ginger not a plus. Bean medley was best on plate. Roll and butter good. Waited a quite a while for my plate to be cleared to order desert. Pecan Pie very sweet but good. Tea water cooled while I waited for correct bag of Earl Grey. Overall, disappointed, but ok.

Two problems: (1) Mexi-Skillet breakfast dish was the worst I've had in 30 years eating at Shari's. Really bland; (2) Restaurant room temperature was cold. Waitstaff was terrific -- friendly and attentive.

Your wait staff is more concerned about the cash flow from the gambling and liquor than the restaurant part of your business. They appear to be very much understaffed; that may also be due to the secondary business being conducted on the property. Staff warm and helpful, when they were able to get to us. Much too long in waiting for to give our order, waiting for the food to be prepared. The toast on my sandwich was soggy from waiting. We travel to Eugene once a month for medical treatments for my mother. This has happened to us three times over the summer. We are looking for a new restaurant.

It took a long time to take our order. Then our order of three choices (sandwich, soup and pie) took 45 minutes to arrive. The bread on the sandwich was dry and hard. I had to get up and find the wait person to complain. The sandwich was replaced with fresh bread. Everything was wait, wait, wait. Our planned quick lunch took an hour and half. This is not what I have experienced at Sharis before and hope it never happens again!

Beth Maloney never smiled, was irritated when we asked for a table away from the kitchen and service area. She was upset about something and never relented. Maybe twenty five years has had that effect. I ordered the chicken and waffle with a salad. The salad had one small tomato and two slices of cucumber. The rest was dry lettuse. The waffle (3/4th of a waffle) was cold. So cold that the soft butter harden upon landing on its surface. The chicken had little meat on the bone. One wing, a back, and an upper joint. Mostly skin and breading. The other two friends did not care for their meal, but mine was the greatest disappointment. For less than the cost of this meal, I could have gone to the buffet across the street and received a fun salad and as much meaty chicken I needed. This comment doesn't give me any joy. In fact, I wish I could give it a better review. I feel this business will not succeed with the efforts of its management. Sincerely, P.D. Paulson visiting from Phoenix, AZ every summer.

was slow evening and it took between 20 - 25 minutes for waiter to come to my table. Management should be aware of what is going on and should monitor customers to make sure that the waiter is aware that they have a new customer. Although the waiter did apologize for the delay - she spent no time in additional conversation with me even though she spent time with other guest. Did not come back during the meal (even though establishment was slow) and inquire about my diner. She did offer me desert which I accepted. Following serving my desert and my enjoying my desert, I didn't see her again for another 20 minutes when she finally brought me my check. I nearly walked out and may should have, but that is not what I would have done. Now for the management - the manager should be aware of everything that is going on in the restaurant and should notify the waiter if her tables in her section change during her shift. Having spent 40 years in the hospitality industry I am fully aware of how properties should me run and would be more than happy to consult with you to help improve service. Our party of 6 included 2 young children arriving at different times. The last 2 were running late and we asked to order right away anyway. It took another 15 minutes before we saw any Waite staff. One person had to leave. We were there about 45 minutes before we received our food, causing the 3 and 5 year olds to be bored and hard to keep entertained. The food was great but this is the third time we have had such a long, long wait at a Shari's. The food isn't worth the long wait when we are looking for family dinning. 45 minutes from being seated to receiving our food is too long for lunch time.
