Sitting too close to other customers, too loud!!!!!

Hash browns were burnt. Staff is never friendly.

We called ahead to make sure the construction was finished (it has been a while since I have been by). Whomever answered the phone was rude. I would have just gone to Elmers at that point but they had longer wait to be seated. When we got here we were on a waiting list. There was a lot of confusion with the waiting list and who should be seated next. Front staff was not very nice unfortunately. Our waitress was really nice, quick and attentive. The food was excellent!

Since the recent remodel of the Roseburg Shari's, the dining atmosphere has completely changed. I used to feel like we had some privacy while eating, but the layout is so open now that I feel like we're rubbing elbows with other diners and there is no seclusion whatsoever. I realize this was a corporate-mandated change, but I believe it degrades the overall dining experience.

We were very satisfied. You, on the other hand, want me to mark everything HIGHLY SATISFIED or I get questioned. Since you don't want MY opinion, what good does this survey do?

My guest feels cold almost all the time and we were seated by the windows under an air conditioning vent. Even my hands get rather cold. We brought up the problem with management as we were paying our bill. It was brought to our attention that the areas in the middle with tables don't have vents close to them. We'll sit there in the future; unless the summer temperatures really get fierce.

The only two things I would share are : I asked to have the eggs and bacon together. They were in different containers. No big deal, really, but that's a lot of waste for you guys. Second, I think it is a little nuts that you charge 1.75 for an egg! I ordered three eggs with a side of bacon. All together, that was 9.53. Two eggs were 3.49, bacon was 4.29. Seems kind of pricey to me.. But the lady that helped me, Peggy was SUPER nice. I really liked her a lot as she was pleasant and friendly.

It took almost 20 minutes to pay bill after eating as there were many customers waiting to be seated and some to pay their bills. With that many people, it would have been nice if more employees could process bills. As I was paying by credit card, our waitress finally took my card and did the bill but then walked off as I was signing the slip. I felt very uncomfortable leaving a sign credit card bill laying on a table where anyone could and probably would have picked it up that wasn't a worker at the facility. I had to stand in line again to hand over the signed slipped. I could have just as easily walked out and no one would had be the wiser til much much later.

The newly re-modeled store looks amazing! The problem with my order was Bacon came with my order, it is much smaller and thinner, not the kind that I am used to getting at Shari's.

seems like the portions were smaller and the prices went up.
