Shari's

Service was good but the main entrees were wrong. The Salmon PoorBoy was 10X spicer(hot) than the previous 3 times I had it even with no Chilpolte sauce. Since it was a Friday my wife had the prime rib as usual but the prime rib we believe tasted and looked like a small pork chop. Over the last couple of years she has never had this happen. We are regular weekly customers to Sharis but might be going to other places every week if the quality is declining.

Restaurant was very understaffed. We visit this Shari's often and it is frequently understaffed. I don't know if they have hiring or retention problems, have poor scheduling, or frequent absences.

Coffee was cold and did not see anyone to correct problem until food came. Food (mashed potatoes) were cold as was gravey.

We were a table of 9. It took a LONG time for a waitress to take our order. it took a LONG time for our food to arrive. BURNED toast. Burned ham slice. Chowder slopped over the edges of cups/bowls. STALE rye bread on sandwich. Shortage of staff. Dogs at 3 tables! None with visible service dog ID. One wandered. Are you surprised we won't be returning?

We were greeted and seated quickly. Didn't get our coffee as soon as we usually do. It took 20 min. to get our food. Couldn't even melt the butter on French toast because it wasn't warm enough. Neither of our orders were hot. We're regulars at this restaurant, so this was a disappointment.

Our visit took place after 8PM on Halloween, the restaurant was not very busy and there seemed to be several waitresses available to assist with the amount of customers. However, our waitress was often not seen for quite a while. She would offer to bring refills and 10+ minutes later, she would walk by again, and we would have to ask for our refills. When my husband ordered a piece of pie after the meal, it took about 10 minutes for the waitress to come back with the pie, packaged to go when we did not ask for it to go. The food quality has significantly gone down hill since the remodel and we most likely will not return to this Shari's again.

Did not receive full meal had to ask for salad one record it one did not. Had to ask for roll fish basket and fries were VERY over cooled. Didn't get horseradish with prime steaksandish service was very slow and restaurant wasn't very busy.Had to ask for refill on beverages.

FREE PIE on WEDnesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No where did I read only after 4pm!!!!!!!!!! Mentioned it to waitress she lied said on the menu it said after 4 pm BUT nowhere did it say after 4PM I want my money back!!! I mentioned it to manager but he charged me anyway. Atleast I should have been told they were sorry for the error!!!!!!!!! Pie was good though.
