I came into the medford sharia on 3/19/18 we were seated immediately but when the server return back with drinks, one of the drinks was wrong, she never asked if we wanted appetizers as we wanted to order one. When we got our appetizers there was no cheese in our cheese sticks she was happy to get them fixed but the second ones that came out were the same way by the 3rd time they were right. I feel like she was either anxious or new cause she wasn't really paying attention to what I ordered because she also got my order wrong as i was splitting it with my daughter who was hungry I had to wait longer and by that time my pancakes were burnt and cold but i just wanted to feed my daughter so i could leave. The service was okay but the food was horrible. It's like they forgot about what was cooking and stepped away. The restaurant only had 6 tables so busy wasnt an excuse.

It took several minutes to be acknowledged and several more minutes to be seated. The restaurant was under half capacity. We sat ourselves, while another older couple was still waiting, until I told the manager - who then sat them. We only saw 2 servers and a manager. Our server was good, but seemed over whelmed with tables on his side. It took quiet a while to get our meals. The food was fine. The male manager walked outside and was smoking with another man just outside the front door. When they finished their cigarettes, they came back in, and man was brought to a table immediately. The manager sat down with him for a another few minutes, talking, while tables were left un-cleared. Usually we get great service. This time, there were not enough servers for a Friday afternoon, and service was really not very good, although our server tried to do his best to keep up.

My server (121292 richa-2) knocked items to the floor from the to go area. He did not pick up but walked over them 3 times. Another worker picked the up and put them back on the shelf!!! So the next customer will get items that had been on the (dirty) floor. Dirty coffee lids, utensil packages, syrup and jelly containers which are at least closed but outside of item may contact food in bag. Was shocked that these items on the floor were not thrown out. My clam chowder was just luke warm not hot and my coconut cream pie was frozen. Which caused embarrassment when I delivered these items.

Eggs were over cooked. Gravy was cold and bland. Hashbrowns were cold over cooked and extremely oily.

1. I ordered a Cuban with no pickles/mustard - but there was a huge pickle on my plate! 2. The fries were cold on the burger orders and the burgers themselves were cold. 3. The fries were not the usual fries we receive at Shari's and they were greasy and looked like they had been cooked twice. 4. We came in at 4:20 on a Friday and it took a long time to get our order and there were not that many customers in the restaurant - the burgers had been sitting waiting for the rest of the order per our server - so she brought those out first, then then Cuban. 5. Our server was friendly but didn't move all that quickly even though we had told her we were in a hurry due to a basketball game. I have to mention the fries again -we have always enjoyed the fries at Shari's and in fact have come in just for the fries, but these were TERRIBLE this time.

Waitress took order and pretty much ignored us the rest of the time, she never came back to check on things. We didn't get the chance to tell her that the food was cold! The cook did his job well but it got cold. The waitress was talking to another employee who was off the clock. A couple other waiters made a couple of remarks about them talking. This happened close to the kitchen side, by the coffee station.

We were seated right away. Our server Rohn, was not very attentive. Took a long time to get our orders taken (was not very busy). Once taken, we were not checked in with. Once our food arrived he vanished again. Food was luke warm. I had ordered the Stroganoff, the meat was a bit tough but ok. Once I started eating the pasta I found the bottom layer on half of the plate to have pasta with alfredo sauce. I didn't finish eating because the two flavors don't blend well with me. My sons mashed potatoes were luke warm. We needed a refill on our waters and as Rohn was passing us he said he would be right back to get it for us. He never returned. We helped ourselves to a pitcher of water. Once he came back to get the pitcher of water for another table he spotted it on our table and said he needed it back. Once we were finished we never received our ticket, so we had to go up front to have it looked up. I go to breakfast quit a bit,here. I don't see myself going to dinner any time soon.

It was clearly understaffed. The team on was working very hard, but from wait at the door to wait for food, it was far too long. It was Friday morning at about 10:30, so it would seem staffing shouldn't be an issue? The server did a good job, but had far too many tables to be outgoing. We waited at front for about 15 minutes to get a table. It took a while to be greeted. Food took about 40 minutes after we ordered. English muffin was completely burned. The rest of the food was okay, but no better than any other breakfast food. Had the restaurant been better staffed, my guess is the experience would have been much better.

Wait person told us 2 different chefs prepared our food. My food got cold waiting for my husband's food to be ready so both could come out together. Also freezing air blowing AGAIN in the restaurant. Left coats on.

Asked for cream for coffee 3 times - never got cream. Asked for more coffee. Took over 10 minutes. Took 15 minutes to have our order taken. Food was not very hot when served.
