My daughter's French toast was burnt so badly she couldn't even cut through it with a knife. The cook had covered it up with the strawberries so it looked pretty and when she lifted the toast, it was black. My salad was missing the blueberries that were supposed to have been included. I was surprised, we haven't had this kind of trouble and we have often visited this Sharis.

I am highly satisfied, just marked the wrong end

On Pi day, you'd think you'd have extra staff. Took a long time just to get two pies from the front case, as you were short staffed.

The only soup options available were a chicken noodle (nope -- wheat allergy) or butternut squash (which was fine, but unimpressive). It would have been nice to have another non-vegetarian option. There was also some sort of video poker or lottery going on in an alcove toward the back of the restaurant. The noise wasn't enough to interfere with our conversation, but overall it lent an ambience more suitable to a bar than to a restaurant. To the big items, though: service was great, server was friendly, everything else was fine.

When received coffee it was lukewarm.

when we came in, it took awhile for anyone to acknowledge and seat us. then it took an even longer time for us to be able to place our order. Then it took quite awhile for the food to come. The appetizer came with the meal and was luke warm. Then took forever to get the check.

No particular reason. Everything was just fine.

I had to wait for my pie to be located

I just saved "highly satisfied" as a category that stands out as extra special. The experience over all was great Bonnie's service was especially attentive. The Restaurant was a little colder and breakfast was not bad, nor was the coffee but did not stand out as something that I would not receive at Elmers or another restaurant

the experience was very good but there was nothing to make it life altering experience.
