Shari's

My mate ended up with food poisoning from either this meal or the one that she ate on Saturday night. Our server was in her first week on the job and did the very best that she could. My meal was not good enough that I would order it again. Not very happy with the overall quality of this meal.

Numerous employees but none checking out customers not taking names and seating customers. Waited 10 minutes for order to be taken, Had to ask for for water three times and server was curt, unfriendly and didn't act like she cared. It was worst experience I've had at Sharie's. Add to that the tine salad priced at $8.49. Person with me ordered breakfast meal and it was five times as large. We both noted this size discrepency. Then Birthday pie slice was about half normal slice for same pie ordered in past. Very unsatisfactory visit.

Staff was inattentive. At one point I needed to search the restaraunt for the waitress in order to get assistance. She seemed more interested in clearing the tables at 2:30am as opposed to checking on the 2 tables that were occupied. while she was very polite and service was excellent when she was around. She was hardly ever around.

Our overall service was average at best. Our waitress, Kim, seemed impatient and distracted. But the main thing that made this experience highly unsatisfactory is that she sat a large group right next to us who were loud, obnoxious and using foul language. We had just started eating our dinner when they sat down. They stood next to our table while waiting for staff to set up their table. The group smelled of cigarette smoke and were watching us while they waited. I was nearly touching elbows with one of them after they were seated. The table wasn't big enough for their large group, so they crowded chairs around it. We were there dining with our son and his girlfriend. It quickly became very uncomfortable for us so we asked for to-go containers. We informed the waitress of our concern. She gave us a half hearted apology. I'm sure we were not the only offended customers. I had also ordered a piece of pie. I got my pie to go. She gave me a very small slice. We are native Idahoans and have eaten at this Shari's many times. This is the first time we have ever had this type of experience and I feel bad that we may not ever return to this location because of this situation.

Server was great, and I do not fault her. She did her best to talk to the kitchen. But, it took a full, 30 minutes (no exaggeration) to receive our appetizer. I heard the server ask the kitchen about it 3 or 4 times, but they kept just saying it was coming. I have worked in food service before, and 30 minutes for an appetizer is simply unacceptable. When it finally did come out, you could tell it was rushed by the appearance. As if they finally threw it together at the end. It was early afternoon, and there were not many people in the restaurant. There is really no good reason I could see for why it took them so long.

got seated pretty fast. the place was not busy yet it took forever for someone to come take our order. the ketchup was empty so I asked for a new one. she took the old one and never came back. I ended up going and asking another waitress for ketchup. The fries looked like they had been sitting around a couple hours at least. most of them were pretty small , dark, and crunchy. The half of a dill pickle was pretty limp too, not fresh. Our waitress had a family member in her section so the family member got all the attention. I usually have great service and food at Shari's so this one experience will not deter me from going back.

One meal was inedible, the sandwich rolls were hard as wood. The second meal was severely overcooked.

the service sucked paid 100 for dinner and the meat was over cooked the fish was small just not impressed tried to call Robin and Danny says she won't be around for a few days they added dressing to my salad when I said to have it on the side my onion rings were not cooked the food was cold

Their attitudes towards customers me and my father went outside to have a cigarette we had told them that we would be back in they have came out and they told us that they are getting busy make it quick we were having a cup of coffee we were paying customers we do not come here often but we used to be regular customers and with the attitudes I don't think I will recommend anyone I don't think I would have anything nice to say about this restaurant please take care of this problem thank you

Ordered eggs over medium. "If they come with snotty whites you get them back." They came with snotty whites. I sent them back. 2nd try: over hard. Sent them back. 3rd try: runny whites again. Told server to cancel order. Cook put eggs back on griddle, she brought back out, STILL RUNNY. Each attempt, same meat lovers skillet, so even if they had finally gotten eggs right, FOOD WOULD BE COLD. OMG, it's Sharis, isn't this what you do?
