We had a large group (18) come in for dinner on Mother's Day. We are v understanding group & were appreciative that tables were set up for us next to each other & quickly, especially on such a busy day (though we seemed to come when the crowds had died down). Robin was extremely professional & took all our drink orders & prepared them. Based on the fact that she seemed to be the only server working the entire restaurant, it took a while for her to get back to us with the drinks & take our orders. While doing so, she was v knowledgeable & helpful. The biggest issue was the speed at which our food came out. After placing the order, it was well over 30 mins (perhaps closer to 45-50) before we started getting our food. When it did finally arrive, at least 2 salads were prepared incorrectly (wrong dressings, not on side). Bc we had small children with us who were starting to get impatient, we did not send the wrong items back. Plus, it was mentioned that the manager told the server to ask if we would take them as the only cook was "7 tickets deep" & didn't have time to remake them. While Robin was professional, we were v disappointed. FOH & BOH understaffing had a v negtive impact on us

We only ordered pie and coffee. After we received our order and the waitress brought the check, we never saw her again. Flagged down another waitress for more coffee. She was not the friendliest. She acted like we put her out to get us coffee. She had walked passed us 3 or 4 times without acknowledging us at all. Service at this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

We had three different servers approach our table within the 5-6 minutes it took to even receive our drinks. Our first waitress took two tables food orders even before she began getting our drinks. Getting refills took too long, our food took too long ( we had a soup, a burger, and a panini andbit took 23 minutes) and we waited for tickets but after almost 10 minutes we walked up to pay. The food is usually good but the service is not at all what we expect. Our entire group was made up of managers and this kind of service would not fly. Retraining the staff would help your customers not feel so neglected.

Brandy was very rude and condescending. We go toSharis a lot during the year and love the staff/managers and every year for kids birthdays for last 5 years and they look forward to their free birthday pie/pie shake. Brandy (who I've never seen there before but told me she is now the manager) declined to give the Birthday pie to my son and told me that even if she did then I needed to pay for the milk to make it a shake. I was not impressed with her attitude at all and she caused the happy vibe Birthday vibe we had when we arrived to disappear. We ate our meals and left asap. If this is the new management at Scottsbluff, then we won't be eating there again.

Took a long time to be seated. Waited almost half an hour to get two steaks cooked medium rare and medium. was supposed to come with vegetables which we did not get. could not locate waitress so had to catch host to ask for them. he said they would be a minute and a half. Over five minutes later I had to go find the waitress to get them and when they arrived one was less than half the variety of the other. The steaks were overcooked and the waitress never checked back at the table at all. Drinks were never refilled even though empty glasses were set on side of table and waitress hurriedly walked by three times and there was only one other table-that I could see-in that section. When I paid and the host asked how things were I told him and all he said was "Oh. Sorry about that". Nothing was done to even make it right. It was the worst dining experience we have possibly ever had. No one cared about anything except getting the payment. We will never visit another Sharis or recommend it to anyone.

We, along with several other people were in town for the eclipse and this restaurant was woefully unprepared. It took nearly 2 hours from the time we walked in until we were able to leave. Initially there was 1 cook and 1 server and about 50 customers. It was not the staff 's fault they didn't have enough help. There was a complete lack of foresight & planning.

We arrived at 4:15 for a early dinner with my elder mother. It took 45 minutes to get our food and when we did it was cold. My mother ordered fruit with her sandwich and the fruit was so hard she could not eat it. The waitress did not visit our table after our meal was delivered to see if we needed anything or if the food was okay. Very disappointed, our meal for the three of us over $40.00 and we did not get the service or food we would expect for the amount we spent.

There were only two workers on the floor. There was a booth w/one very out of control young family. In the neighboring booth, was 2 older gentlemen trying to talk business,& in the table right by them was a table of older people out for lunch. Then we were seated right in the next booth. In an empty place! My 19 month old granddaughter kept trying to look around & looking at us with a bewildered look. She had never been around such a thing. When the older table left, the waitress stood at the register for over 20 minutes talking. Finally, another lady came over and saw we had drinks but no food, so took our order. When the food came, the child's cchicken was so hard, we had to chop it into tiny pieces and leave 70 % on the plate because it ws too hard to eat, for anyone.

I was served spoiled cottage cheese with my meal. I had taken a bite of this, which immediately sickened me. I put cottage cheese on top of my omelette, which had to be re-prepared. I do this because I am on high protein diet. All they did was comp my coffee. This was not enough for almost making me vomit and for me to have to eat alone, because my husband's food was already there and hot and I did not want him to have to wait and eat cold food. I come to Shari's expecting better service than this.
