Honestly, Michael is one of the best massage therapists I have worked with! He is really good at getting the knots out, yet making it feel like a relaxation massage! Great tempo, pressure, and Just enough conversation...let’s you relax or talk at your own pace...can’t stand a therapist that talks non stop!

The facility has a pleasant and relaxing ambience, well-kept with personable receptionist and therapist, knowledgeable and experienced masseuse, relaxing and effective.

My message therapist was Micheal and it was the first time I had him as my therapist. I like firm pressure, even more if necessary, on my troubled spots. He was very strong and knowledgeable and took the right amount of time on the troubled areas. He also wasn’t shy about massaging my gluteal muscles and my chest muscles. Before the massage he asked if anything was off limits. During the massage he didn’t talk much but got right to business which is something I prefer.

I am always greeted with a friendly smile and warm greeting. I am usually taken back to the room quickly. The therapist asked where my problem areas were and she really helped them. Her attention to that area was greatly appreciated. I actually want to request her next time.

The whole experience is top shelf, professional, welcoming and relaxing. My only two minor critiques are that I don't like the nickel and dime approach to members, $10 to transfer a credit to a spouse seems a little silly. And you can't really control this, but when I get in a groove with a therapist and they leave suddenly, it takes time and money experimenting to find a suitable replacement. It would be great to have a multi-week window to wind down with your regualr or have them transition you to someone with a similar style. I know this is labor intensive and cumbersome, but it would be a classy touch. In general, we LOVE Hand and Stone and tell everyone in the community to skip the resorts and visit the South Laguna Beach location.
