Hand and Stone

I was satisfied with my last treatment. But there is a high staff turnover and few good deep tissue massage therapists. There are too many rules: no 90 min sessions on weekends, can’t apply 1/2 a certificate to services, can’t transfer accumulated treatments to family without a $10 fee, etc.

My esthetician was great so I'd recommend her but I don't like the business model of getting "an hour massage" that's realistically only 50 minutes and a facial that's only 45-50 minutes.

Ember is excellent massage therapist. she is so knowledgeable and effective; hand and stone NEEDS TO OFFER AND SELL ONLY CLEAN PRODUCTS NOT THE STUFF WITH CRAPPY INFLAMMATORY OILS??? WHA IS WRONG WITH YOUR COMPANY THAT THIS IS NOT THE POLICY. THIS IS WHAT WILL MAKE ME LEAVE AS A MEMBER. However, ember is the best. get with the program its 2023!!!!!

The inability for staff to find client history, record of gift / credit on file. This has happened my last two appointments. The staff blames it on "corporate" computer system. Unacceptable when one comes in to have a relaxing experience.

I was in room 8, which was very large and comfortable, but the noise coming from Starfish next door was highly disruptive to the entire experience. My massage was scheduled from 7-8 pm, so I understand the restaurant next door was very busy, but I wish this had been indicated to me beforehand. I think moving forward you should just let guest know about this.

My therapist Ember was amazing! She took the time during our initial visit to go over my problem areas. She spent a good amount of time working on them and two days after I am in less pain. Looking forward to my next visit.

Overall my experience was great. I miss having a spa area to use before my massage. That’s the only feedback I have and I understand that’s not what hand and stone does.

I liked the service and the cost for the introductory facial, because it was inline with other places nearby, but the normal price is very high unless you become a member or pre-purchase a package
