i scheduled a deep tissue massage and i could not tell the difference between the deep tissue and the usual Swedish massage that she gives me. Maybe the therapist did not get the message. I did not tell the therapist but made a comment to the receptionist when she asked me for the $10 upcharge.

Seems the Rico, a lovely guy but hiss massage therapist style of massage is more hurtful than helpful for me. I love Michael at this location but all of the other therapist have not been helpful. Not sure if they are all trained in the same styles but their massages highly vary and they do not seem intuitive or restful for me. Maybe just the style of massage. But do recommend Michael as he is calm and not hurtful during the massage.

I do not think my esthetician used all the regular products during my facial. I’ve had quite a few facials from Hand and Stone before and this time, I only had three products put on my skin. My skin did not feel or look any different after my facial, which is pretty disappointing.

Jasmine’s energy alone set the tone for a comfortable, enjoyable environment. The message itself was incredible, atmosphere was on par and booking was easy.

I was told the facial included shoulder and upper chest massage. Only my face was touched. This was the first facial I’ve had where there was no other area touched. Disappointing, especially when she said at the beginning it would be included.

Crowded reception area, doors should be open for fresh air. ALL H&S employees MUST wear a mask covering mouth and nose, NO EXCUSES. Reception staff should not be yelling back and forth to other employees in the area. Very loud employees while having a massage also. Room very stuffy. Are air filters consistently and often changed?

The massage therapist cut my time short by 20 mins. The receptionist only charged me for an hour but I was expecting 90 mins

I received an email which prompted my call to make an appt. The receptionist wasn’t familiar with the 2 for 1 gift card advertised on my email. I had to forward it to her. She did follow up with management and honored the offer which I appreciate. I was two minutes late to my appt. My bad. However, I waited over 5 minutes before aesthetician came to get me. She didn’t cut my treatment short which I appreciate but no one acknowledged that they were running late in the first place.

Mark was my therapist and he was the best! He paid attention to my needs and applied the exact pressure I requested. I would drive to Laguna just for him, and I live an hour away. I was disappointed at the lack of social distancing from the 3 employees at the desk. There was no COVID survey for guests, no temperature taken. No request for me to use sanitizer or wash my hands before the massage. I did wash my hands anyway. I appreciate the rule to wear a mask and all employees and guests did this. This is a beautiful location and I want the employees and guests to be safe. Everyone was friendly, professional, and just lovely. Please consider these extra precautions.
