adding $10 for deep tissue is kind of ridiculous. I would think most massage therapist know what they are getting into when starting their career. Just like massage envy I anticipate your monthly membership rates are going to go up and up over the next year. Also disappointed that you advertise 1 hr massage when in all actuality it is only 50 minutes.

Ricardo was very good. Great pressure, checked in but not too talkin I’ve-love that! He asked what areas need extra attention-great on those areas...just didn’t realize that that meant other areas not covered. Next time I would clarify...want all over massage. He also spent more time massaging over the sheet than i Preferred. Creates too much friction. Prefer oil or lotion contact rather than fabric sheet. But he was very good. Next time I would tell him to skip the massage over sheet

There is a lot of turnover in the massage therapists. We never know who is going to be available form day to day. It would be nice if we could get to know the therapists, and be able to select a time when our desired therapists were there. Right now it's hit or miss as to who we get for a therapist.

I come in pretty regularly and I usually have Luis..This week he was not available as I waited until the last minute...I had never had a massage with Amanda...She came "highly" recommended...While the massage was relaxing, it just wasn't what I am used to...I wasn't provided with any neck support while on my back, she did work on my neck and shoulders as I requested and may have forgotten when she moved on. I could not use the towel she provided as it was very hot and soggy. I came away relaxed. I guess I am spoiled..Luis is highly professional, very knowledgeable and listens and intuits ones needs. I made my next appt with him in two weeks...I love Hand and Stone and I am always recommending you....

My appointment was running 15 minutes late and no one told me. Finally the massage therapist came out and told me, and said he would come back out to get me. Which he did. My guess is that his previous appointment ran late, and so there was nothing he could do to change the spillover effects. The front receptionist should have done something other than ignore this. She seemed clueless which was awkward as I waited out in the waiting room for a good 15 minutes after the time my massage was to have started.

I really enjoyed my hand and stone facial. My esthetician knew exactly what was right for my skin and even recommended future treatments to look into. Also, my skin looked and felt amazing after!

It was 10 minutes after my appointment time. The receptionist noticed I was looking at my phone (for the time), and said the masseuse was behind schedule, but I would be given the extra time. Ok. Good to know As I was waiting, a woman was checking out. I heard the whole conversation, which was awkward. He said, let's take care of the gratuity. Would you like 20 percent. She asked how much that was. He told her. She said how much is 15 percent. He told her. It was awkward for her because he didn't just hand her a credit card slip or bill and let her fill in the gratuity line in privacy. She, it seemed, felt like she was being grilled and pressured with regard to the gratuity--in public with me and others in the waiting room hearing the whole thing. It happened to me too. Can you just hand people their bill and let them decide what to pay without these pressure tactics made in front of an audience? It's like public shaming or something. Thank you.

When looking at the website it listed a 60 minute couples massage as $89.95 per person. When paying I was charged $99.95/person. When asked I was told couples massages are $10 more per person. I don’t really understand why it’s more expensive. And if that’s the true price it should list that way on the website. We paid for a 60 minute massage and added the peppermint head massage. And with adding that we still only got 60 minutes. I thought that might add extra time? But it did not.
