Hand and Stone

The receptionist when we got there was friendly. I came with a group and we were taken care of originally. Even though we all had the same time, a few of us were waiting for others to finish (between 5 and 10 min). The receptionist told us to move from the couches and wait by the front counter. I had no problem moving but the message could have been conveyed politely. Once we moved to wait by the counter, she gave the impression that we were inconveniencing her by waiting there. If it had not been in the 20s outside we would have just waited outside. I understand that they have other customers coming in, but they also knew we were waiting for the rest of our group. I have another group massage day planned and will most likely go elsewhere for it.

Waited after appt time

The massage therapist is great. The front desk has some organization issues, although there was no problem during this visit.

The waiting area is small and I feel like it has been made worse with the patrician that separates it from the natural light in the room. The chairs are uncomfortable as well. The sound of the water is nice on the hand and stone sign. I’d like to feel the ambiance of nature more than the living room feel that is currently there. It feels too stuffy and not as zen as the massage rooms

My only hesitation is the cost.

Booking online is very dissatisfying. The webpage let me get through a variety of question i.e. when, time, whom. I finally confirm my appointment details and I receive message my appointment is no longer available and I need to start over or call. Some staff is very friendly and helpful others should become more professional and not sound lecturing.

The therapist was good, but I think the massage could have been more firm.

Both of my services were great and the massage therapist and estescian were great. Enjoyed both services. I do think the coordination between massage and facial needs works, getting a robe/slippers is nice/relaxing. But having to wait in the hallway for the next appointment is a bit uncomfortable especially when people are walking back and forth. The relaxing feel after the massage and robe/slippers disappears.
