Hand and Stone

It seems at the south miami hand and stone location there are very inexperienced massage therapists. Estitichiens are hit or miss as well. 2 are phenomenal and one is average. There needs to be a better process to thoroughly vet employees.

Appointment started 15 minutes late & therapist forgot that I ordered hot stones until midway thru when I reminded him. Manager gave me aroma therapy for the late start which was nice. No other issues.

The reception staff - who seemed relatively new to me - barely made eye contact or looked. They didn't volunteer to make a next appointment or ask if I needed anything else. They were perfectly polite when I asked - just didn't seem the usual service-oriented that I am used to from Hand & Stone for many years.

I was in room number 7 & there was too much noise coming from the outside. You can hear people chatter & some door was closing & opening non stop for more than 10min. This really distracted me & took away from having a peaceful ambiance while having my massage.

Didn't even have a full 50 min massage. Appt started a few minutes late, took time to change and wait for therapist while in the room, but ended exactly on the dot. I wish that I had the full 50 minutes of actual massage time- I needed it. The massage was incomplete- missing the feet and calves entirely in favor of focus on problem areas. It felt suddenly cut short.

I was satisfied but had a lot of pain the next day related to the massage

Great service and good massage. I just naturally compare it to other massage experiences that have been better - do within my bell curve you are good not great.
