Hand and Stone

The difficulty in trying to make an appointment online is very frustrating. I even called in and wasnt any more efficient. I finally received a call back 2 days later with the ability to book only one of the services.

It has been three months or more since I visited Hand and Stone massage. I think the salon was completely closed owing to the pandemic, I don’t know. I really loved the person I had been with all the time I had previously been a client of Hand and Stone. The therapist I had before the salon closed has moved so I had no choice but to have someone else. She was fine, I just missed Allie very much. I also had previously had a problem with Hand and Stone Salon charging my credit card on file WHILE the salon was closed. That took some doing and the help of a friend to get that stopped. So I’m leery now of resuming regular visits to the salon.

There was just one small thing that I didn't even realize until the massage was done but we had talked about focusing some time on my hands & fingers since there were some strains / injuries there and I think we both just forgot : ) But the major issues were all addressed well.

The scalp massage was something that I requested and paid an extra $15 for but was included in the time of the massage that I had already paid for. It was not relaxing because my hair was pulled and it hurt. Not the therapist’s fault...just the nature of doing this massage with hair that is dry. I will not be requesting this again.

My masseuse did not apply enough pressure. My masseuse talked to much. I was using someone else's account and I was still heavily charged past the amount I agreed to after addons.

I was very very sore the next day.

Very clean, knowledgeable, and personable, but I waited in my car to be waved in for 25 minutes. Therapist was excellent but cut my scheduled hour to 45 minutes. She started 15 minutes late and stopped before the hour was up.

The treatment was supposed to be an hour long the esthetician got me around 10 minutes late and she finished 10 minutes earlier so I basically only got 35 mins of a facial which I find not fair since I did pay 65$ for a full hour facial.

My therapist did not tell me about any of the products and didn't tell me what she was doing while she was doing it. At the End, she told me thanks, and left the room.
