Hand and Stone

I asked the massage the therapist for a very firm massage and I did not feel that it was firm. I should have spoken up about it, but I was hoping he would ask how the pressure was. To be fair, I ordered the Swedish massage and perhaps a deep tissue would have been more appropriate.

Checking out ....scheduling my next appointment could have went smoother. She seemed irritated that I chose to keep the same massage therapist. And, I have a certain time of availability to work with.

On my gift certificate, the classic facial said 1 hour and 15 minutes. I only received a 55 minute facial.

I am not sure I can explain exactly. The therapist was wonderful, but the rest of the experience is not top notch.

Not a bad massage but perhaps not the best - my only minor complaint is that I often feel rushed because the therapists have a tight timeframe to get people through. I know it is not economically ideal but either offer more time for the massage or cut prices a touch to take the edge off of that rushed feeling. The membership makes it worth it but I would never pay the full $99 for a massage at hand and stone.

No real reason. Probably want to try a new massage therapist at Hand and Stone.

I have a difficult time getting an appointment for a facial. I've tried 3-4 times prior to this appointment but was not able to get in

I was told to call 4 days in advance to see if anyone was booked after me to get an add-on. Dee Dee the receptionist was not up to date about that when I did call and therefore I lost time on my massage

I booked a facial and deep tissue massage with and hour break in between because they didn’t have back to back appointments available. The facial was only 35 minuets versus 1 hour as scheduled. I waited about an hour and a half until my next appointment when it should’ve been only 1 hour

I am not a tiny person. There were times that I felt this made the massage therapist uncomfortable which led me to me feeling uncomfortable at times. Overall the experience was nice, just not what what I have had in the past at Hand & Stone.
