Hand and Stone

Recently joined Hand and Stone hoping to get regular massages and facials. I was pleased with my first experience there as well as the Black Friday bogo which was awesome for Christmas gift!!

It always seems to take a long time getting you into the room, allowing for you to change and then coming back, which cuts into your time. Since you are paying approximately two to three dollars per minute, this becomes annoying. Perhaps your appointments should be scheduled every 75 minutes instead of every 60 minutes. I f people are paying close to 100.00 per hour, they should get an hour of services.

I was not highly satisfied because the pressure was a little too intense! I wanted medium pressure but I felt like on some areas the massage was a little too rough. The therapist was kind but she also didn’t ask if the pressure was ok. I would have then asked her to apply less pressure.

I don’t like being so,d expensive services during my appointment. If there are specific services they should be discussed before the facial begins. I feel like everything is get the customer in and try to sell more things. I would not mind paying fir upgrades at all, except there is no additional time being offered for the service.

I do not care for the selling culture of this company in general. I do not like being part of a membership and add ons are pricey. Staff was wonderful, no complaints about them. Love this office, it is quiet and the decor and music are relaxing

I became a member because I was told by the receptionist that it was a better for the price (only $60.00) but so far I have spent almost $200.00 every time I go in products and other treatments. I feel that I have been harassed. I go to get the classic facial and the esthetician starts pushing other treatments and products. I go to the spa to be relaxed and I can not feel relaxed with people like that.

I feel that every once in awhile, the therapist should explain her technique.
