Hand and Stone

It’s very relaxing and I feel so comfortable and calm during the massage. After the massage I feel very carefree and relaxed. STRESS FREE!!

I had 6 appointments that day and everything went wonderful. 2!facial and one massage were just ok not great. Over all the day was great. Would come back for experience maybe not the specific service.

Could have used more pressure. This was first foot massage; I was expecting more ...not sure exactly what🤷‍♀️. I wish the stones were part of the standard session without extra charge; it is the hand and Stone after all.

It wasn’t my usual location. I LOVE the Springlake & Brick locations, but because I was waiting for my car, I chose to go to the Ocean location. I did not know there was an extra charge for a deep tissue. I’ve been a member for at least six or seven years now and have never experienced an up charge for deep tissue. Besides the fact that the therapist didn’t even perform deep tissue and concentrated mostly on my feet, which wasn’t anything I requested. It was probably one of the worse massages i’ve Received my whole time as a member. I will not be re-visiting that location again.

There was some awkwardness when I got in the room were I was left confused as to whether or not I was supposed to take my clothes off in front of the therapist or if she was going to exit the room for me to get ready. Many gaps in the message where the masseuse was not making physical contact with me. Quite a few times where the massage oil was applied cold. After I turned onto my back, she skipped/forgot my left arm. Overall she did well, but I have had many many massages in the past that left me highly satisfied. This one was just ok.

Price of the products. Would certainly buy more product if they were more affordable for me.

I’ve had great massages there before, this one was just ok. She didn’t ask how the pressure was, which was too hard.. and it just didn’t give me the same calming feeling I’ve had in the past. I paid for the mini hot stones and did not feel i got the same experience out of them i have had in the past.

I can’t pay that price for a massage each month. I prefer when a therapist gives feedback - such as- this area is tight, stretching may help, or suggestions

The environment was great and the receptionist and esthetician were very friendly and knowledgeable. Although, I felt like my masseuse did not accommodate my needs and when I tried to ask for what I wanted My needs were still not met. I felt like the whole massage was rushed and I was not able to get relaxed. I was extremely disappointed with my massage I think I’m more tense now than I was prior to.

I have been getting massages religiously for the past forty years and have been fortunate to have had a select few techs that really stand out. My tech at Hand & Stone has not reached that degree of experience in his career at this point. This is not a reflection of the effectiveness of the massage because it was helpful in relieving some pain. The art of massage takes time to perfect. I think the tech I had will do well in this field, he just needs more clients to gain the experience to feel confident and to have that confidence resonate during his massages.
