Hand and Stone

Hand and stone is a great spa for an every day I need a massage spa but not really high end spot that really pampers you. I love it because it is close to my house and has mostly good service I usually have very good massages. Onlky have had a few bad ones and I have been coming to this location for many years.

Scheduling seems to be an issue, and there is often confusion. Sometimes I get 10 text reminders/confirmations, and sometimes I get zero. The services and products are becoming super expensive

The facials are fine, don’t you have massage products for your therapist’s that do massages, the therapists that I’ve had don’t seem to know the details of mussels! The really great therapists either went to Boulder or are booked for months out but work hard! You need more therapists because the waiting is tough on me!

Therapist was almost 15 minutes late getting me from the reception area but still ended on time. Felt rushed towards the end. Therapist was nowhere to be found after I got dressed and walked out of the room. Other therapists I've seen, always walked me out.

Services are way too expensive. Also, I have been to other spas that ask their clients if they want conversation during their session or not and that is amazing. A facial is a super relaxing time for me and I don't necessarily want to make small talk. Although my esthetician was very kind and friendly, I really just wanted her to let me relax for one hour. It would be nice if the questionnaire we fill out includes a question along these lines.

I thought to give the messages another chance to use out membership money.During my message I was very pleased and thought of renewing my membership but got to the front to reschedule with Darlene and was told her next available was not till November which is almost 3 months away (not good) the lack of availability at this facility doesn't work for me and doesn't make sense when I was able to get a appointment within a week of calling then to reschedule almost 3 months with same person.

Always room for improvement. It sure I need or want the membership but had to do to get reasonable price.

The aesthetician allowed some of the soap to get to corners of my mouth during the facial. She also kept wiping her hands to dry them on the sheets at edge of bed/table, which made me slightly uncomfortable. I recommend using a towel instead should it be necessary for aestheticians to dry their hands. Aesthetician was skilled and knowledgeable, nice to speak with and did a great job. I suppose, however, I will request a different aesthetician for the above reasons.

The appointment times and therapists available during the times I can make appointments are very limited. I am routinely frustrated, especially if I need to make a change to anything that was previously scheduled. Especially then, I have difficulty getting a call back from a manager when I have requested one. It has taken weeks before.

It’s very difficult to book an appointment. They are always booked. I was told they are short handed with massage therapist. I have to book way in advance, or I can’t get an appointment that agrees with my schedule. I almost canceled my. membership because of scheduling issues. Thank you, Debbie
