This was an average experience. The therapist was more abrupt than usual, but also more creative in body mechanics to reach areas I would otherwise not been aware of.

I have now had three massages at this location and though none of them have been bad, they all seem to fall a little flat. I thought maybe I was just being too harsh so I went to a competitor up the road and had an awesome massage, which then just confirmed my "meh" about the massages I have received at H&S. Also, I have a gift card to H&S which I have found very difficult to use. I signed up for a membership, but the gift card can only be used for my monthly charge if I remember to call the day before the charge goes through and ask to use the gift card instead. That's ridiculous. And I was also told I can't use the gift card to tip. Gift cards are straight money and should be treated as such. It feels scammy when a gift card is so tough to use. At this point I do not see a reason to continue my membership.

My husband already has a membership he started in 2019 at my encouragement. I was a member long ago and would not go anywhere else. After my visit, this time I decided to join again since I had a wondergul experience. After 3 months at his rate it will increase $10 a month. I am aware costs of things always go up, but I will have to re-evaluate.

Karen really is great! She lets you enjoy and relax during the massage, she doesn't talk unless to ask a question specific to the massage. I get that the 2nd person in the reception area does not have a clean look... a trashy look. She seems to be trying since the last time we saw her there.

Overall the staff was very polite, but not very professional (saw their interactions with each other while I was waiting and that shouldn’t happen in front of guests). Also, I just felt like I was being sold more and more things the entire time. I went to get a facial and that’s all I wanted—I didn’t want add-ons or to buy a membership and It really gave me a bad taste in my mouth by the time I left.

I liked the therapist but it was not the best stone massage that I have had

Everything was great. I just feel that the reception and waiting area should be two separate areas. Most spas have a quiet waiting room for you to relax and drink tea or whatever.

My massage therapist that I had used before left and I was given another who was good but not as good as my original one!
