Hand and Stone

I was charged yesterday because my first monthly payment was not received yet. Why was that not explained before, I should have been scheduled for a later date. I will now have a payment taken again in a week.

First time having a facial at H&S. Very relaxing, person was excellent, but I did not think it was worth the cost. Will have to compare to other spas. Massages here are wonderful and aligns more with the cost.

I also booked a facial prior to the massage. The aesthetician is not very serene. While she is performing the service, she is noisy when moving things around or opening cabinets for supplies, etc. The serenity of the service is impaired. In addition, she was late in completing the service which then shortened the time for the massage.

I believe that I have a pinched nerve caused by vertibrea miss alignment.

Therapist listened to what I shared about the pain I was experiencing. She asked good questions, offered suggestions, and the massage targeted these areas very well.

Appt scheduled for 3 pm for 80 min with Kathe. Rcvd email it was at 2 pm. Called day before and confirmed. Kathy did not know H&S receptionist changed appt without Kathy nor my knowledge. I waited for Kathy to arrive and she was already on her way when Lisa called her at 2:00 pm. Disappointed in scheduling. Scheduled hubby and me on Jan, 13, 2018 in person for 80 min on Valentine's Day 6:00 pm. Told by Lisa from staff mtg we would be cut back to one hour when scheduled for over one month. Disappointed again. Cindy said she would talk to Dave. I would have had time to schedule elsewhere with enough notice. Now only two weeks away. Disappointed again.

When I booked I was under the assumption that I was using 2 services and when I checked out I had to pay again. I am no longer able to gift my massages to my relatives so I won’t be continuing after I finish my services.

My therapist was nice and communicated well, but I didn’t really like her massage style. She moved very quickly and it wasn’t very relaxing. I love Hand &Stone but I wouldn’t use this therapist again.

Too much talkimg during my massage. Would have prefered just quietly enjoying.

Staff is wonderful and massage therapist is great. Beds are comfy and relaxing. The only complaint I have is the music selection. It changes moods too frequently.
