When booking my two appointments, I had placed an appointment for an introductory hot stone massage. When I had arrived it turned out my therapist does not do hot stone massages so I was switched to a regular. Which is no big deal, Ill do a hot stone massage next time, so it was fine with me.

Erica Saldana is a great therapist, and is going to be missed when she is on maternity leave.

In the room, since it is carpeted, the high traffic areas are more worn out and soiled due to use. Since it is also the area to change, it feels icky to put my feet on the carpet. The towels used to wipe down the oils on the body are quite coarse and rough to the skin. Makes it uncomfortable when pressured is applied on top of the towels when therapist is removing access oil from the back/shoulders

I felt that the massage therapist did not focus on my area of need as I had requested but rather did a regular full body massage. Very relaxing, but I still have knots in my back..

The pillow in the massage room smelt highly of perfume from a previous client.

Place is more like a spa? But it’s open during a pandemic? Is it more like a medical need or a spa? Gives me a confusing experience

The pricing for non members is very expensive compared to the going rate for massage treatments.

Paying for 50min service, which ends up being 40-45 min services almost all the time, unless you go with a specific therapist.

Personally, I just would have preferred a longer appointment to really address my soreness. I also had back pain days after that didn’t previously exist.
