The music in the massage room was not my “style” of relaxing. But Emily mentioned for my next visit I could bring my own music and she can turn off the speaker music. That was helpful to know!

I thought the massage therapist was very skilled and gave an excellent massage. The receptionist was absolutely lovely and so friendly, I just thought overall the hand and stone experience lacked a spa feel. I don’t think there was any music playing in my therapy room and there weren’t any nice smells. It was still probably one of the best massages I’ve had. My only other comment is that the therapist chatted throughout . While I enjoyed our conversation and he a very nice person and excellent at massage I think I would have preferred to chill in quiet and switch off. I was too polite to say that.

The receptionist took a while to acknowledge my presence. She was not very welcoming. The massage therapist Laura was great.

Booking is very difficult and there are not enough female therapists.

My overall experience was good, and I would definitely return but would probably try a different RMT as the massage was good but not great.

The massage was painful, but I thought that I could manage it, and said so when asked. I am now in pain, instead of feeling relieved.

The membership is a standard program that fits to regular needs.

Could do better treats in the reception area - bring in some fruit and milk chocolate. Would like more variety of products for sale - like essential oils, hand creams and bath salts. Would love a discreet option to ask for yes or no talking during massage (except for massage related questions) - silence would help me relax more and have a better experience.

It would be great if the music was updated to more natural background music like rain, ocean waves or sounds in nature. Some times the music can be a bit distracting or odd.

There are a couple things that I think would improve my H&S experience in comparison to other RMT competitors (ie Massage Addict): -Booking - I wish so badly that I could properly book online with the same RMT based on available time slots. I find the back and forth with reception to be such a hassle, especially because they seem to only be able to address one need at a time via email (they’re always lovely, they’re just not set up for success here). It would also probably save a lot of time for your receptionists. -Instruction on where I’d like my massage focus: because I never consistently see the same RMT (although I mostly rotate between the same few) they all seem so baffled every time I tell them to focus on a certain area and not full body. I find myself repeating myself about where to focus and it doesn’t feel like they’re listening to me. Especially since I’ve been coming to H&S for over a year and usually start off with anyone new by letting them know a bit of my medical history and that I’ve been getting monthly massages for the last 4 years, it just seems so strange that I go through the same experience almost every time despite the RMT.
