I found the staff at this location professional and very helpful. The location is about 20 minutes from my home, but I plan other errands in the Manahawkin area for the same day to compensate for the travel. When I first joined Hand & Stone, after 20+ years with Massage Envy, I had quite a problem booking appointments with my desired therapist, Dorothy - totally booked! However, when her calendar opened up, I booked ahead. I tried to do so again on the date of this massage, but the "book" was not yet open for January! Dorothy is extremely talented and can tailor your massage to your needs. As soon as the 2023 book opens up, I will be booking ahead to ensure that I can come to the spa each month. One thing - I had called several times on 11/10 & left messages, but no one called back. However, when I asked why they did not, the Receptionist said that they did not get any messages from me. Maybe something is rong with their message system. The gentleman who answered the call when I finally got through on the 4th try, actually got testy when I asked why someone did not call me back. I just wanted to confirm my appointment time. i was not happy with his reaction.

Massage was great and she got the areas that I really needed done. She did talk a little too much, but I didn’t mind that day. The room was too cold, it would be nice to have a blanket from the start of the massage. I couldn’t book online, when I called they said online booking hasn’t been working. And while I was able to get my initial massage immediately, scheduling a massage after joining takes 2 weeks.

I was seen on time. Felt like it was a very good facial. My skin felt great. I will return

My massage was great I told her that I needed her to do extra work on my legs and she did a wonderful job

My aesthetician was so pleasant,knowledgeable and very easy to speak with. She was so soft spoken and very gentle. I will be back for more services.

I have been a member at this hand and stone for almost 3 years now. Marguerite is the best! She always recommends the best products and helps me understand what is best for my skin!
