Hand and Stone

I had a great experience as I normally do with Hand and Stone. Natalie is amazing, albeit a bit challenging to get in with, but always satisfied when I do! She’s knowledgeable and kind, and I like that she lets me relax, but chimes in with some helpful hints when she feels sometime in my body that is funny or she could give me a tip on how to make that area feel better more of the time. My issue today was the receptionist. She really didn’t seem keen to help me and was a bit rude at the end when I was cashing out. I tried to make conversation when I first arrived and she clearly wasn’t interested. I get it, I’ve been a receptionist and a customer service staff, it can be difficult to turn it on when you’re having a bad day, but the clients do notice and I personally would appreciate someone with a bit more cheer and who responds to my conversation. I hope the receptionist I dealt with is alright and if that is unusual for her, she has my empathy. However, if that’s the norm, she’s not someone I would hire for front of office duties. I appreciate it’s a hard time and really, my thoughts are with everyone to be well, so I hope she’s ok.

My massage was phenomenal. Christine is always so professional knows exactly how to make my body feel better. If I lived closer (I'm 20 mins away), or I won the lottery, I would come every week! Special thanks to the girls at the front desk. I asked about the new serum being advertised in the window and they were so helpful. They knew allot about it and were so enthusiastic for me to try the sample

Good conversation with Sam, making the visit more comfortable and enjoyable. Sam asked frequently if she was applying the right amount of pressure for the massage. She was able to work out knots in my muscles resulting a satisfying massage.

I was thrilled to find my RMT, Amanda again. I wish the franchise would find a spot in the Courtice area. It is quite the drive, but she is worth it. I have gone to her to assist with many issues, migraines, planter fasciitis, and a pulled back. There is a great need in the Courtice area since our other local massage place shut down. Amanda would make a great manager. Tons of experience.

Stephen Galloway is an awesome massage therapist and a charming young man. He knows what he’s doing and finds all the right spots to loosen up tight muscles. I trust him as my therapist.

Ronjan is fantastic. Was aware of my problem areas and treated them specifically. Gave many helpful suggestions for alleviating the pain and tricks to mitigate strain on the muscles in the future. Looking forward to whenever I can make it back in for another massage!
