Prefer to fill out forms in advance and not repeat info again and again.

It would have been better if the linen had a neutral scent, as I could smell the laundry detergent.

The preparation and change time should not be included in the total appointment time. This made the appointment and service short. The shortened service time reduces the impact and effectiveness of the treatment.

The therapist seemed hesitant and awkward, almost as though he was afraid to touch me. More oil could have been used.

There’s always room for improvement for example the reception area could be made more interesting

It was a very satisfying experience, especially the convenience of booking a same-day appointment. The drawback of that convenience is that the massage therapist was new to me, and there's always a bit of an adjustment to a new practitioner/client. She was very knowledgeable, though. I'm also glad that Hand and Stone seems to have phased out the massage oil that left a smell on my hair and clothes in past visits.

The volume of the phone is very low so when I can to book my appointment, I can barely hear the receptionist.

Massage therapist did not go low enough on my back to get some of my pain areas that were pointed out prior to starting

The only thing I should mention is that there was loud music playing somewhere - maybe in the apartment above hand and stone? - during the massage. It was quite distracting, and while that might be out of your control, I thought I should mention it.

I could hear the laughter and chitchat from the upstairs reception, which was very distracting, and not very relaxing...
