I've tried 3 different therapists at this location. One left - now usually have Bob and and this last time wanted to try Keagan. Just checking out other therapists to see who is good match and has been difficult to get appointments with Bob on weekends so wanted an alternate. But obvious Keagan is still learning. Just felt had to remind him about pressure - although he did ask how is it - but even though I said light pressure please - still had to remind a couple of times. Also Bob uses a towel after say back and helps to remove the oil - Keagan just handed me one at the end - if you want it - so not as personalized. Bob seems more attentive - that is experience. Came away ok - there wasn't specifically anything wrong - but no wow factor either. No can't wait to come back ... so to speak. While I will continue to come to H & S I likely would not book this therapist again. He and I are not a good match. Not saying he isn't good - just that we are not a good match. THink he would be better with clients who want deep pressure.

Massage to facial transition felt a little disconnected switching rooms twice. But everyone was friendly.

It was totally fine - and I signed up for a membership after this booking. It is simply my preference to have a different style of massage so I will try out a different RMT next time, but please know that she was totally fine, kind, professional etc and it was a relaxing massage, just not my taste for technique/style. I really just think it is a personal preference - where someone else may love her. I will simply try another RMT until I find someone that works better for me. Hope that helps?

Room a little cold. Music too quiet. Light on while face down. Towels were used to wipe off oil which took away from the relaxation/became cold quickly. Linens too thin and not relaxation-inducing. Lots of time spent retrieving oil/warm towels instead of massaging (oil should be on therapist belt).

I felt a little overpriced for facial message

I think it would be helpful for the RMT to notice if the client wants to sleep during the treatment. Sometimes it's nice to not talk, and just focus on relaxing. If I'm not continuing the conversation normally that means I don't want to continue talking. I absolutely loved my RMT though, that would be the only piece of advice. There wasn't a lot of talking, but I just think it might be a helpful piece of information for other RMTs as well.

Most places give you a full 60min massage, H&S only does 50mins massage and 10min for prep/dressing, but when the appt starts 5mins late, you're down to 45mins, a full 10% lost. No one even acknowledged this or offered to make up for it.

I was unable to book my usual massage therapist. The therapist I did have was different in his technique.

The receptionist ran after me for payment when I went out for a cigarette thinking that I wouldn’t pay. So unprofessional. My husband was still inside having a massage.
