My rmt was excellent Receptionist kept sniffing which made me uncomfortable but I asked if she had allergies and she said yes. Just think basement spa rooms should be updated. The feel upstairs is so much more spa like

I booked my appointment with a specific massage therapist, and was treated by a different massage therapist. While I know your booking system includes a disclaimer that you may substitute another RMT of the same gender, it's not a good client experience. It feels like a "bait and switch." If my RMT is going to be swapped (unless I booked saying "any available RMT"), I'd appreciate advanced notice with the option to reschedule. I have to give you 24 hours notice, but you can swap out my RMT with no notice. It's detrimental to my overall satisfaction. To be clear, the RMT that I had was also good. She just wasn't the individual I *wanted* (who I prefer).

My therapist was attentive and took the time to understand my needs - I was happy with his service level. However, a few days later, my back issues are still present. I recognize I likely need more intensive treatment but wanted to be honest about the massage's effectiveness. I also find the rooms and ambiance a bit clinical when I go to a Hand and Stone location. I am not expecting a full spa experience at all, but a few touches such as the room temperature, lighting, and aroma would really elevate the experience and make it feel a better value for money.

Reception staff abilities were poor. Any problems were all from reception. Also the massage bed was broken in my room. It was not comfortable or convenient for me, and it was frustrating and embarrassing for my technician. My massage therapist was top notch in abilities and professionalism.

My service was lovely but I didn’t appreciate the upsell after I was already in the table. Made the rest of the visit uncomfortable and slightly stressful
