Was not prepared to redo intake form. Asked about whether cancer question was necessary since it had been more than 10 years and not relevant to service I had, was told it was not an issue but had to do oncology form anyway.

While I enjoyed the facial, I did not like push to add on services or purchase products, and because of that will probably not return.

When we booked the appointment we were told that my massage ( a transfeer package from my spouse) would cost $10 plus any add-ons. When I showed up I was told I would also have to pay an upcharge for deep tissue, which I was not warned about. Someone should have let me know ahead of time.

The massage and massage therapist are fantastic but the prices are just ridiculous. Membership prices keep going up and the non member prices are insane.

At this appointment I felt that the front desk staff had turned into used car salesmen with the way they were pushing upgrades, it felt uncomfortable.

1. Literally every single time I talk to a receptionist they want to upsell me. I've been going there for a few years, you would think someone would realize that no I don't want 2 hours, no I don't want hot stone, no I don't want a facial. 2. When I make an appointment over the phone, they always ask for my first name. WHY? They eventually ask me if I'm a member. How about doing away with the fake friendliness and just take my full name, check my status, ask if I want the thing I ALWAYS get, and just stop with the song and dance. 3. It has been a while since I tried to book an appointment either online or via app (which is just a different way to access the online system). I don't remember the details, all I remember is that the app was so terrible I uninstalled it and decided I'd rather put up with having to put up with a receptionist pretending to care how my day was, and basically deal with the stuff I described above. If it wasn't for the specific massage therapist I see, I would terminate my membership right now. My satisfaction rate with replacements when she is not available is around 50% or so, which is terrible. So yeah, I love my therapist, but I hate Hand and Stone.

Massages are great. Facials are not rejuvenating. Too busy pushing products.

I still feel like I need another massage after I leave there. I can afford relaxation massages. I would rather have deep tissue, but I don't feel like paying anything extra than what my membership covers.

My therapist only massaged me for 40 minutes NOT 50 minutes. She routinely takes a long time to come into room and then finishes exactly at 50 minutes after the hour no matter how long she massaged me. Planning to try a different therapist next time.

Melissa is a rock star! Great job always. The front lobby area has become very sterile looking, the front staff never ackowkedged me upon arrival, no more bottled water but rather the filtered water, not impressed. Thank goodness for Melissa as she knows her stuff! You’ve got a winner with her!
