Hand and Stone

I expected something a little different between the Himalayan Salt and regular Hot Stone Massage, maybe more aromatic? Not a noticeable difference to me. It was still a very relaxing massage, which is what I wanted.

Overall the experience was great, the only thing was that I was asked to fill out paperwork in order to update it. But I did that not less than 3 months ago as an update, so the fact that I'm being asked again was tiring since I have to fill it out while having a spasm in my back.

My massage therapist was nice but did not speak to me in much detail and was not very warm and welcoming (especially for it being my first time). I did not even see her after my massage.

Parking is awful. There wasn't a single spot in the lot. I had to park across the street.

Limited availability for other services. Turn over of employees. Booking errors.

IT was a good experience but nothing special.

I have been booking 80-minute sessions for the past few years. When I had my previous appointment and booked this one, I am certain I booked an 80-minute. When my long-time therapist finished up at 50 minutes, I was very surprised. To everyone's credit, I received multiple apologies, and of course, only paid for the 50 minutes. Because of a recent injury, I requested focus on that area and didn't have time for the full body massage I was anticipating. I'm also not happy with having to repeatedly fill out forms.... my therapist is informed of any changes in my condition, but having to spend time to fill out forms, especially when typically nothing changes, is not part of my relaxation therapy..... And my therapist indicated the company policy recently changed to require updates every 6 months (and I thought every year was too much)! I can appreciate initial intake for a new client, but how much update do you really need???? It's not like I can claim this on my insurance.

Check in took longer but only because the store is busy checkin and checkout other clients which is an attestment to how good of a spa this particular location is.

Availability of massage therapist. Only few are good and they are totaly booked.

Satisfied but only visiting city.
