Hand and Stone

The only slight downside I have to comment on, I booked a hour and upgraded to 30 minutes. I was on time for appt. But when finished I looked at the clock and the time was one hour 20 minutes. Don't I get a full 30 minutes?? I don't take 10 minutes to dress/undress. Just a thought.

This feedback is more of a general statement about Hand & Stone, because we have loved the service we've received at the Scottsdale location. The prices are high for the services, then you are asked about upgrades during the service, when you have no idea what that upgrade represents or how much it will cost when compared to the service you scheduled. After the service is completed, the hard-sell for products begins. I know this is an overall business model that greatly increases revenue from clients that can't say no, but I for one don't like it. It also prevents us from using Hand & Stone to a larger degree.

I realized this was simply an introductory massage so I joined knowing my needs will be met the next time. I loved the office staff. Very warm and professional.

Your website/app no longer has adding an extra 1/2 hour as an option.

Both technicians were great but I think I should have been told “ the hydrating facial” was an up charge. I wasn’t told that. It wasn’t a problem because I was gifted my services but that info should have been delivered.

Therapist tried to sell/recommend products. Too chatty

Table had head lower than rest of body which affects blood pressure & should not be done. Aesthetician Medal box on Table empty for client to move when trying to lie down . She also left metal box on my shoes when I tried to dress in dark room. Asked I'd wanted water @ end of session but never gave it to me. Despite all that, i left her a tip!!!

I was satisfied. However, the scalp massage was not worth the price xtra 15.00. She did not massage my head.

Satisfied as a rating is sufficient. I had good service.

I felt like there was a lot of ‘down time’ with my facial. Maybe the product had to ‘set in’ but that was not told to me. I felt I laid there a lot and not touched (if that makes sense?).
