I was highly satisfied with Nicki, my estitician, and highly recommend her. I was satisfied with my massage therapist, but I felt he was slightly rough around the edges. I am going to try another therapist next time.

I won't be returning or recommending Hand & Stone to anyone within the next 90 days because I live out of state and won't be back in Arizona for a while. Regarding my therapist, the massage was good but rather than moving to lighter and lighter touch as the appointment was ending she used the same amount of pressure that she had been using then stopped. It felt like an abrupt ending.

My most recent massage had to be switched to another therapist because my regular therapist injured her wrist. I was fine with that but the therapist I got was terrible. I told her the pressure I wanted and the areas needing attention. She failed to do so even after I told her again what I was needing. On top of that I’m 99% sure she was dozing off to sleep during my session. She would be massaging and then the pressure got lighter and lighter and her movements of her hands would slowly stop to a point there her hand/fingers where just on my back doing nothing. Then suddenly I’d feel her jolt and she went right back to massaging me. It was most apparent when she was sitting in her little chair working on my neck bite while I was on my stomach and when I was on my back.

Therapist was very polite but was not what I needed. Lacked holistic and therapeutic touch. Massage started out promising but seemed lackluster further in.

I miss the chocolates in the reception area. The music was too loud, lights weren't dim enough. And the therapist, though I liked him, seemed a bit lacking in technique.

The only problem I had was that my one hour massage was only 45 minutes. I was the last appointment so Wasn't sure why it was short.

The massage therapist was great. When I checked out I was told I had no available credits and then was charged. However, my online account indicates 6 available credits. very disappointed to have the discrepancy and not be able to apply one of my credits.

I feel that the building could be more inviting and relaxing, it doesn't look very spa like inside.

Receptionist said she was the only one available and not convenient for her to accept payment prior to my massage
