Hand and Stone

For about 1/2 hour during the massage portion of my visit, the music went off. There was a buzzing sound from the light fixture in the treatment room, and I could overhear the guest in the room next to mine since there wasn't any music to drown out the outside noise. It eventually came back on, but it was weird while it was out.

Lights were left on at full brightness during the entire massage. Was also not given a warm towel after massage was over to remove oils.

Seems like the location needs some attention. Seems worn. Rooms seem cluttered with towel warmers, stone warners, fans, etc. they seem like they were added on afterwards, not part of the deaign. Therapist was good, but not great. A bit clumsy in the room, kept hearing him run into the stool and asked about pressure too much. Distracting. Front desk area seemed cluttered with gift bags. Front desk staff quite nice, but not extraordinary.

Would like more time on the facial, so she can explain what she is using and the steps to maintain and help further for a follow up plan.

There are always places for improvement, but I was very happy with my service.

I requested Tom but he was booked all day and asked for someone of his caliber me they suggested my therapist but I didn't feel that she was the right fit for me. She was very pleasant and tried to accommodate my needs but I could tell she wasn't very experienced. I am very particular because of my bodies needs and need someone who is heavy handed and experienced to get in and work out my stiff muscles. She has great potential and maybe she could get some pointers from Tom!

I was charged $59.95 as a monthly membership. However, an amount of $49.95 was deducted for a classic facial from the membership amount. I didn't get the clarification as to what would happen to the $10 that was remaining....

I have been a member for a long time (6 or 7 years) and just need a change. The good therapists I've had in the past no longer work here or don't work in my available times. Other therapists have been satisfactory, but not great. Some are almost too "formal" or structured. Overall good experiences though.
