Staff at the Scarsdale office spent more time on services and seemed more experienced.

Not information about products used. Linens looked a bit worn out. Felt uncomfortable in my neck.

I received a gift certificate for a 50 min massage and provided the code upon making the appointment. When I checked out I was told to pay an extra $20 because it didn't cover the rate. I was quite surprised and therefore disappointed with not being told in advance. I am from mamk and was excited to use this gift card at this location to support my community but with this upcharge I was thoroughly disappointed. The massage was excellent but unfortunately the desk staff was indifferent to my needs and my last experience prior to leaving the establishment and it was very negative.

Nothing was done beyond the norm for me to be highly satisfied. Everything went just ok as it was suppose to. Not to say that anything went bad either.

I think its my preference to have esthetician describe how procedure is working during my facial, ie 'this is exfoliating/ moisturizing your skin' or 'this is going to penetrate to the layers below the epidermis and consequently ...' And if i prefer to just be still i would let her know

Thought it was a good visit this time. In the past, have not had a great massage but this time Joe was great. Also in the past, has been hard to get an app at the times needed.

is the massage one hour or 45 minutes or 50 minutes? I always feel like they end early or start late and end on time. Maybe I'm wrong on the amount of time, but that should be stated. The masseuse was excellent, that would be my only comment and it has happened multiple times

It'd be nice to have a more "spa" like experience, e.g. herbal teas, lemon water...instead of a water cooler with plastic cups. And there's always room for improvement. I am very happy I found Hand and Stone though!

Hard to get an appointment. There is no standardization in the massage, the quality of the massage depends on the therapist. I would prefer if my eyes were covered when facing up at the massage table
