Hand and Stone

I'm still "trying out" the entire experience. I am very happy with the spa, but not sure I will continue to make the time or spend the $ once the weather gets warmer. It's me, not you.

My massage was to be a 50 minute massage. By the time the massage therapist took me in the room and began, she only worked on me for 40 minutes I guess to keep up with the time, which was way too quick and felt rushed. She was very nice and did a lovely massage for the 40 minutes but that extra 10 minutes would have made a difference.

Every thing was great maybe not what I expected but I didn't mention it so I don't complain

It is very hard to get a massage appointment.

I feel that there is quite the variance when it comes to massage therapists-- some are great, some not so great. There also seems to be some discrepancy about the description of the massage on the website vs what the masseuses think. For example, I wanted trigger point based on my needs, but my massage therapist at the time (Nancy) advised me that what I actually needed was deep tissue as my goal was to relieve pain and knots. Lastly, I'm always unable to book my appt via the member login on the website-- never works and would be awesome if it could so that it would show me the therapists and time slots available- would be very helpful so that I don't have to go back and forth with the person booking my appt. Lastly, just want to say that Nancy gave me the best massage I've ever had-- I keep asking for her again, just wished she had more time slots on the schedule. Get her back please!!

Wish there was a relaxation room to start and finish experience

The services were done well and I enjoyed my visit. I signed up with the hand and stone ion scarsdale where the parking is better. I prefer to only come to mammaroneck on sundays so I don't have to worry about parking meters. The services were good and I plan on continuing with mamaroneck.

I had made an appt for a facial several days before. Before the appt, the estiltisian called me and left a message saying, "Please call me before your appt." I just didn't have time - I was booked solid and couldn't call back before the appt. When I arrived, the receptionist said that the estiltisian was sick and that I needed to reschedule. She was very nice and said that she sent an email earlier that day, but again, I was so busy I didn't have time to look at any emails. I wish that the initial phone message said that she didn't feel good and may not be able to make it. It's no biggie, but I paid for parking and left only slightly frustrated. A free upgrade or something like that would have made me feel less frustrated. Thanks for listening.

I had to ask for less pressure several times before therapist got it right. Was excellent after that.
