Had nothing to do with the staff. The guests in the waiting and reception area were rude and obnoxious to the staff and created a negative vibe.

I liked the massage guy on Saturday, but prefer the guy who does my massage on a Sunday. I wish he had more availability

It would be more pleasant for the basic massage oil to be scented as opposed to having to pay an upgrade for a scented oil.

I booked appt on a Wednesday to take advantage of the free enhancement. But when I asked about the enhancement upon arrival, I was told there was no time to add the 15 minute service. I was never told this was something I could or should request in advance. In addition, I did not find the quality of the massages to be enough to keep me coming back every month. They were ok but not outstanding.

I tried, but could not make an appointment online. When I called for an appointment I couldn't get the time I wanted or a female masseuse. I called only a day in advance, but I still thought there would be more availability. I called on Wednesday morning for Thursday and the earliest appointment available was 4:30pm. I also understand that Hand & Stone is a minimalist spa, but having the lights fully on does not aid the ability to relax.

I purchased a membership so that i could make use of the one hour massage. The facility is beautiful, immaculately kept, staff is excellent, friendly and accommodating, and the massage therapist definitely deliver when it comes to the quality of the massage. You advertise a one hour massage but the massages are not one hour, they are fifty minutes. Seems to me that this is false advertising. Whether you need time to dress and undress, you advertise a one hour massage and it is not one hour.

I would like the massage room to have a nicer atmosphere. It is too cold from temperature and atmosphere and the music is too electronic not enough relaxing.

wish there was a relaxation room to get me in a more relaxed mood before I started my massage - and one to go back into for a bit before I left. Also lights are too bright in the massage room - they should be dimmer - or cover my eyes during my massage when on back.

Sore in Mamaroneck

Massage therapist was great; it wasn't him. I'm irritated that I turned away another appt for 90 minutes from another place because Hand & Stone was $15 cheaper for a 90 minutes. I booked w/H & S. When I arrived, they "could not accommodate" a 90 minute. No offer of "in order to compensate for that, we'd like to offer you X". They charged me $15 to make it a full hour, and I'm not sure I got that. Also was misquoted price once they offered me a 50 minute one (quoted me Swedish price when I asked for deep tissue), then had to correct that. I wanted a 90 minute massage. Bad first impression of operations. Also was kept on hold while receptionist booked the appointment. Did not receive neck work or foot work. Masseuse was skilled butI felt let down; I was looking forward to 90 minute.
