It was an "ok " spa. The therapist was good and my massage was relaxing, the welcome and reception should offer some green tea to relax the client. The area could have had a better, more relaxing fragrance.

From the moment I walked in for my appointment, to the second I left, I was very happy with the service all around. Everyone was very nice and welcoming! My massage was very relaxing and what I was hoping for. My therapist, Ari, did an exceptional job! I would definitely recommend her and look forward to booking again with her! The only thing I could recommend is possibly being transferred to another room after your massage where you can relax for a moment and have your water after being worked on for the last hour. A little more time after your appointment to bounce back up from being so relaxed before leaving.

it was my birthday and i wanted a hot stone massage. there was not enough time to get the stones hot so i had to get a regular sweedish massage instead. A second woman had to come in to do the hot towel foot massage as the first woman could not. long wait for massage. Jen asked if i had a problem area for her to concentrate on , i said yes, my back, so all she messaged was my back - not full body. she should have done the whole body with just a few extra mins on my back - not just massaged my back

First time I had a hot stone massage and not knowing or being warned that stones could be a bit too hot at the beginning. It took me by surprise.

This was my first time my daughter and I got massages. Our appointment was for 6. We thought we would be taken into the room at that time to consult and then undress. We were still in the lobby at 10 after. The therapists were nice. We were satisfied with their work. The gratuity was a bit confusing. I wasn't sure if I should give it directly to the therapist or to have it put on my charge card. All of the signs mentioned 15% of a 50 min. session was $15, but isn't 10.50 on a 70.00(x2) couples massage? Thought it was misleading and pushy. The receptionist said that I could put the tips in an envelope and she would put the money in a safe. I hope the ladies got their well deserved gratuity. I have no way of knowing.

I wish that the prices were a bit more reasonable for students. Please consider student specials in the future!

My pores are very clogged. I left with just as many clogged pores as I did when I walked in but my skin did feel cleaner. This was not my first facial but my first facial at hand and stone. Not sure if I will return.

Decent massage but the massage therapist did not come into the room until 8:15 when my massage when at 8:00 and ended at 8:55. Did not get a massage the whole length of the scheduled time.

It is not that I am not satisfied with my services, it is that I am not satisfied with the prize. I unfortunately had to cancel my membership. While the services are without a doubt worth more than the cost, $50-$60 a month, it sounds more like a utility bill than a massage/facial bill. If you want more customers and retain them, the prize has to be manageable $30-$40 a month/ or have a rewards program like Starbucks where members win free massages, or products. Maybe a day where products are 50% if you buy a massage. Regardless of what you decide, Hand & Stone simply needs to provide more incentives/rewards. $50-$60 a month for 1 service a month is not attainable for an educator like myself, (perhaps discounted student/teacher discounts?) More Rewards & Incentives or cheaper monthly prize!

I have been to other Massage spas and they offer more for the 1 hour massage. Aroma therapy is included and they also do the full body. This was not the case as the face was not included in the massage.
