Hand and Stone

It was my first time at the spa and I was not charged the first time spa charge. I was overcharged and I am extremely disappointed.

Expected everything to go as planned except the mask requirement and the couples massage in different rooms. Other hand and stone massages don't do that. But I know that's not up to the individual doing the massage. That's my only complaint. The massage and the environment, friendliness was all what I expected.

It was too cold which made it difficult to relax. The massage was fine, except for the cold product used during the massage. As the massage therapist worked the product in it was fine.

I kept receiving issues with booking online so called for an appointment- receptionist was so nice! Massage started at 11:15am and ended 11:55am. The massage therapist was friendly. The massage therapist was drinking a drink during the massage- not a big deal but the bottle kept crinkling (maybe provide water bottles).

Nothing is highly satisfying, but I was very pleased and will ask for the same massage therapist.

The massage therapist was not necessarily as friendly as expected, and I still felt quite a bit sore afterwards. I know it has been around a year since I’ve been last, so I wasn’t quite expecting it to be perfect or complete relief afterwards. But I didn’t quite expect to be still this sore.

My overall experience at Hand and Stone was okay. I will say that compared to similar places Hand and Stone is by far better! The experience was great. I signed up for the membership. Yet, the receptionist was not able to answer my questions about additional services provided and I feel that the price for some of the services are high. It would be nice if there was a way to customize what you would like - EX: a 60 min facial with 30 min massage. Or a 30 minute back facial as opposed to the 60 minute for $99 that they offer..

Nicole is great and always thorough and knowledgable. I feel great after my facials with Nicole. Emily is my preferred massage therapist. This most recent time I did not have Emily and it wasn't as good.

The massage are never a hour.
