Hand and Stone

I was satisfied, I have had better massages. Also have had worse.

The massage was mediocre. For what I am paying I would expect much better! I did request another therapist for the next session.

First treatment in a series

I felt Joe used way too much massage oil. I did not like when he pulled/almost pinched my skin as the final step on each extremity. He pulled the sheet over me and did some odd pulling upward of my skin that did not feel good. Like he was trying to get all the oil off his hands and off of my skin at the same time ??? Never had any other person do that. To be fair - I did not ask him to stop. I figured this was part of his routine and I just tolerated it.

I really enjoy the massages and would love to come more often, but I think your non-member prices are way too high. I am uncomfortable with the idea of giving anyone permission to automatically charge my credit card every month, so I am reluctant to sign up for a membership to have access to the lower member prices. I’d like to be able to use gift cards to pay some of my membership fees. Please consider adding other types of membership payment options. I’d also love a location closer to Willoughby. I spend as much time driving to/from your location as I spend actually getting massaged.

I was previously a monthly member for Massage Heights and preferred the ambiance of their rooms over Hand and Stone. They had high quality sheets and a heavy blanket, heated table, very soft face rest, and aromatherapy. I do think Hand and Stone is high quality but I am missing these extra touches. I do find the quality of the massage therapists to be superior and consistent. I look forward to my next visit.

The price is too high for what it is

I really enjoyed my experience at Hand and Stone. My esthetician was kind, knowledgeable, gentle, and talented. We had a good conversation but I wish I would have ended it earlier, I felt like I wasn’t able to relax fully because she and I were talking.
